Once Upon a Time in Canterlot

Greetings Youtube!

Alright, I'm not gonna be calling these My Little Pony: Choreography is Magic. The title feels too long and it's not very memorable even though this was supposed to be part 2 of the series.

So yeah, more fight choreography.

Edit: Since there's a few common questions I notice being asked in the comments. I've decided to put some of the answers here.

-Animated in Flash CS5.
-Animated over the course of approximately 3 months.
-Planning a sequel of sorts. That being said, plans have that annoying tendency to change.
-My favourite colour is blue.
-Twist is CLEARLY best pone.
-I used to play a male blood elf hunter in World of Warcraft named Selesdenus. I passed the time by taking my shirt off during battlegrounds and raids while spamming /train.

Moral of the story:

Don’t screw with Octavia during her tea time

2020 update, life sucks, but the old fandom animations and songs are still pretty good.

I really enjoy the dynamic duo that is Vinyl and Octavia. Vinyl, a unicorn, is the single greatest DJ in the fandom, and Octavia, an earth pony, is a high society chello player, yet unicorns are often much more apparent in high society, while earth ponies are often seen as bucktoothed hicks.

Is nobody talking about the fact that the first pony was straight murdered lmao

I have a feeling THIS is why Thorax didn't join the attack on Equestria.

Is it just me or does Octavia with a straw in her mouth make her just so adorable?

Yeah, I'd be pissed too if my lunch were ruined by a terrorist invasion of my home town.

When someone thinks that the attack on Canterlot was stopped by Cadence and Shining’s love I refer them to this video

Hey, Bon Bon can't be the only retired/under cover agent out there! What if Tavi is one as well?

Coming back to this eleven years later, and it finally hits me: Octavia's fighting-style is fully realized.

As an Earth Pony, she's strong and durable.
By her personality, she's calm and precise in her actions. Almost even bored with it.
This is the bit that floored me: As a musician, she fights to a rhythm.

It's a bit hidden behind the fact that the animator did such a great job syncing the music to the action, but you can see her little bob she does at 0:45? It's absolutely a boxer's move, but she's also tracking the rhythm of the Changeling's fighting style. She's a rhythm fighter! Which is a brilliant basis to define the fighting style of a musician!

I was expecting to revisit this a decade later and find cringe in my past interests, but this still stands! I've just grown to a point where I can appreciate this work on a finer level!
