Chad just might be the first person to make a career out of restless leg syndrome lol.  He's one of my favorite drummers.

I like the fact that he's worked with so many other musicians ,even though he's been with trhcp for years .

Chad Smith is just a guy who really loves everything about playing drums

Awesome! Can't get enough of your reactions to Chad Smith. You explain his mental approach better than anyone I've seen on YouTube.

In case you hadn't seen, Drumeo also has a video from this session of Chad playing on Ozzy Osbourne's "Patient Number 9", which he also played on the record. It features him actually grabbing the mallet to play the gong how he's supposed to XD

I’m loving your react videos for Chad’s drumming. Would love to see you react to more of his drumming as you are the only one that I have seen who’s noticed his ghost notes in this song. Thanks again for helping us all appreciate Chad’s brilliance 🫶

Chad says he was born hyper active. So drums gave him something to focus that adrenaline on!

Glad that he's becoming one of your favorites...

dude, i am so glad that someone can explain what's on my mind, im not a drummer but i like the sound of DnB, usually if i discover new song the first thing i will listen is the drum and bass sound. i love it when you also notice how Chad did with timing and how he fill the gap (i rewind that part so many when i watch this Chad video). you are the best one for reacting drumeo content. you have a great taste!

would love to see you reacting to Gregg Bissonette on drumeo also, he also did session with Chad and Nandhi on Drum Channel.

He actually missed the beat when he screamed, and said cut that off because him singing

More Chad smith please
React to the drumeo guy learning suck my kiss in Chad smith home

BTW - Larnell Lewis playing Metallica for the first time EVER was pretty good too - on drumeo again - have a looksie

Chad will play anything and everything around him, not only the drums. Spread some pots and pans around him, he'll play those too. And guess what? They will sound amazing!

And this is how it looks like when he knows the song

More Chad? Chad is THE CHAD! :)

U should react to when chad plays ozzy osbourne patient number 9 song its really cool to see him play it

You have to watch him playing with rush for taylor and playing taylor song in taylor tribute
And playing with buddy rich band
Also in one song with chickenfoot he littarally broke the drums at the end

Love your reactions!

Any chance you’d look at lingus by snarky puppy? Drummer Larnell Lewis does great filling in during the recording.

I'm in a cover band and I remove all personality from my playing and stick strictly to the official video drum part. I want the crowd to hear what they expect to hear, even if they are not drum focused listeners, the song sounds right.
I enjoy your videos. Don't listen to the idiots. I'm looking at you colin5196. Lol.

I love this song because of seeing him explain his process  and just having fun. Also, I remember I first heard this song at the beginning of the pandemic and thought it was funny a song about staying at home.
