HEADING TOWARDS KM 0 OF THE TRANSAMAZON HIGHWAY — EPISODE 1

The journey has finally begun!

I left Aracaju, in Sergipe, on my BMW F 900 GS Trophy heading towards a place that has long piqued my curiosity: KM 0 of the Transamazonica Highway (BR-230), in Cabedelo, Paraíba.

But the idea of ​​this trip isn't simply to reach the destination via the fastest route.

I want to enjoy the road, discover interesting places along the way, and show what it's like to do this motorcycle trip in practice: itinerary, roads, landscapes, accommodations, food, costs, equipment, and also the unexpected events that are part of any trip.

In this first episode, I travel from Aracaju to Miaí de Cima, in Alagoas, a stretch of approximately 154 km.

And right on the first day we have one of the moments I most wanted to capture: the ferry crossing of the São Francisco River, between Brejo Grande (SE) and Piaçabuçu (AL).

This is the farewell to Sergipe, the entrance into Alagoas, and the true beginning of this journey towards KM 0.
