The struggle getting to the top is what makes him the GOAT. He didn’t up and quit and run to a different team. He got in the gym and got better. GOAT

Ain't nobody who actually lived through the Jordan era forgot that during his first 7+ years he lost a decent amount especially in the post season but he got the Bulls there early and stayed working and getting better and better until he reached the top and then stayed there until Chicago's front office ran him off!!! It's one of the biggest reasons he's so respected and loved because of the early failures only to persevere

49 and 15 as a 6’6 rookie is CRAZY

Shorter people are more agile, taller ones not so much, but when athlete is both tall and agile it's beautiful to watch, but it's rare

MJ: that pizza getting me sick made it personal!

I remember watching that 91 finals win and my dad yelling we did it jumping around with me like a little kid, literally jumping around in the air like we were on the court hugging and screaming. Best memory ever

This is one of the reasons why MJ is the GOAT. Every season seemed memorable and like it came from a freakin' storybook. You can always pinpoint major highlights in each season

All the years before he won a chip (except the one he was hurt during) was electric. Even when they weren’t wining it all, he was fantastic.

I lived through the second Jordan 3-peat in high school.  There was nothing like it, everyone knew about it and talked about it, and we were not even in the USA at the time.  He was an archetype of an era that will never be repeated.  90s basketball has never been surpassed.  Even Gen z kids I talk to about the sport openly telling me how they wish that they could have seen the sport when I was young.

Why do people keep saying "People forget how much he lost before the chips?"  Old school heads never forgot his struggles getting to the top.

Jordan built his legacy from the ground up.

He stayed with his team and truly trusted the process. Not many players can say this.

Jordan is the MAN

The wolf moving up the hill is always hungrier than the wolf already at the top.

the thing about Jordan is that, he may have lost, but he was ALWAYS amazing. his losing seasons were some of the best ball he ever played, and it was virtually never his fault.

The challenge was sometimes too great, but one thing remains true, he NEVER choked, and never folded. he always put up his best even when he lost.

except with the wizards kinda but what can you do
🤷‍♂

When you stay in a team on its lowest time in leads it to champion thats greatness

His first shot propell him

His last shot make him a legend

At the beginning he had no team, and when they got some interesting young guys, he hardened them to champion material

😂he had his tongue out before he took that shot in the North Carolina Championship game, goat!

Oh how i miss those days
