Was the 95/96 Bulls the greatest team ever?

72-10 + Championship = 🐐 team

Yes. They won the championship. Golden State(73-9) did not. It dont mean a thing without the ring. MJ 💯🏀🐐

Need those vids on 1996-97 and 1997-98 bulls

If you watches the 73-9 Warriors, you would know the NBA helped them break the record for publicly and hype. The 96 Bulls played in a physical era and went through several HoF’s. That Bulls team is arguably the beat defensive team ever in Jordan, Pippen, Harper and Rodman

And this was with Dennis Rodman out early in the season. Crazy to think what would've happened if the chemistry started from Day 1

This is exactly the kind of deep dive I was looking for.

73-9 and losing the championship is fucking embarrassing. Maybe the single most embarrassing thing in the history of world-wide sports

2:35 this is the Bulls Gym at the Multiplex, now Sky Gym at Sachs Center, Deerfield.

Damn! This is the first time Ive known Jerry Krause drafted King over Shawn Kemp. Imagine Kemp with that Bulls team.

Perfect example why numbers don't tell you everything.  95 MJ had great numbers but he couldn't finish games strong.  He got winded.  He didn't have the conditioning to finish games like he did before.  The numbers came despite all this.  The next year, the numbers looked just as good but MJ had the conditioning to not only finish games but control them.  I wish people would stop using the numbers to pretend MJ was playing as well in 95 as he did in 96.

This story never gets old, watched it plenty of times because it is truly that amazing.

By the 95-96 season, the Bulls haven’t had a natural lottery pick in a decade. The bulls hadn’t missed the playoffs.

"number 45 isn't number 23" these words have to haunt him

I know they didn't play Utah in this finals but, I would like to see the Malone/Stockton Utah Jazz team play in this era.  Stockton and Hornacek would've thrived in today's league and Malone would've been Malone and I think Bryon Russell's skill set would've been even more useful.  That mid 90's Jazz team would've won multiple championships if they peaked in this era.

I wish Jerry Krause wanted to gain more trust from Michael Jordan and the chicago bulls during their championship run

Luuucccccc!

I always wonder, if the players were not as cordial or friendly to Krause as they should have been, how much different things could have been. We could have seen the Bulls v Spurs 99 finals

I suggest everyone watch the 1990s chicago bulls documentaries. They are amazingly well made.

2:30 ehhh, to put a very very fine distinction on it, he drafted Pippen but needed to trade up to do it. This actually was an issue later because Krause then wanted to lowball pippen.
