Jumping off of two feet on step throughs, no front gather, these are the standards I want this most skilled era to be held to.

His footwork is too immaculate. He’s just toying with his defenders.

His fundamentals were excellent. His ability to square himself for his shot even in midair was incredible. He refined his game so well as he aged

This is not Basketball... this is Art!

This man's handles are unmatched

MJ's footwork was immaculate without being over the top and inefficient.  He didn't need to pull off extra moves because he could get what he wanted with just a few well executed ones.

The balance, fluidity, suddenness, explosiveness, the infinite bag...no other current or former player comes close.

What an art form he gave the people of the 90s and the generations to come. Such skill is extinct now, save a select few

no traveling, just fundamentals, giving everyone the business.

These clips are the reasons why I still get confused to this day when someone tries to compare LeBron to Jordan!
There's ZERO footage of LeBron carving up defenses like this and hitting double clutch, 12ft midrange jumpers over 7 footers! ZERO!

Unrivaled technical brilliance that results in thoroughly enjoyable aesthetics.

I'm from Russia (the former USSR), and I remember that in the 1980s and 1990s, some NBA basketball players made unflattering comments about Michael Jordan. I would like to say to them, "Envy him in silence, you bastards, because you're as far from him as you are from China!" Michael is an undeniable legend in the world of basketball, and people like him are born once in a century.

Watch MJ’s footwork. No wasted moves. Conserving energy.

It's artistry and effiency.

And some players even have the nerve to say he has no bag

Just an incredible repertoire of moves! Nobody comes even close!

11:55 this is my all time favorite move, the way he slid his foot to pass the two defenders was incredible.

Mj had no weaknesses, he done it all over the court,on both ends...GOAT

HE CREATED SO MUCH SPACE AND SEPERATION TO GO WITH HIS LEAPING AND HANGTIME
