Massive thank you to everyone who’s watched, liked, commented and subscribed on here so far !

Currently working on a solution for the Audi and already have the next project lined up so there’s plenty more content to come !

That generation of A5 is timeless, still looks so nice today

Aw no wht a horrible ending after all that work bro so sad

Easy to identify the battery drain! Bit of a faff but - Ignition off - Multimeter set to Amps - Connect to battery - You should see close to 0 amps but you may see  a higher value- A little is OK but you are looking at what is on that should be off! Then locate your fuse box (might need a helper) Pull one fuse at time - You should see the reading on the meter drop when you pull the fuse on the circuit that is draining the battery - then just look up what circuit the fuse protects - Wont fix the fault but will help you find the dodgy item causing your drain!

Repairing a Audi on the driveway. Where have i seen that before🤔😅

‘Cannot figure it out’…….and ‘cannot be arsed to figure it out’ are two different animals 😅

Two years ago i bought my '10 A5 SB 2.0TDI for 3500€ with the CP4 gone just like the last clip of this video! I replaced the pump, the 4 injectors and the fuel filter: i cleaned all the fuel lines with brake clean and compressed air, i cleaned the fuel tank (even tho mine was clean, no metal shavings got to it).. as of today i made 50k km without a single problem.. usually the CP4 dying doesn't create problem to the piston, just the fuel system.
BTW replacing the CP4, the 4 injectors and the fuel filter was about 1500€ (only parts, did the job myself)

You should give the so-called audi specialist a shout-out so people know who to avoid .

Audi make nice looking cars, but everyone i know who has one seams to always have some kind of issue with them.

Hey buddy, Your car DIY skills are top notch, we supply car stereo units compatible with this Audi. We hope you can review our product.:trophy-yellow-smiling:

I’ve got that exact model, it’s given me 277k  miles of glorious driving and post clean it still turns heads. The problem is that I’d get <£1000 if I wanted to sell it. Not that I do.  A truly wonderfully engineered car and one of the last cars that’s not loaded with dozens of unnecessary electronics

29:47 😢😢😢  as I watched the video and came up to this minute I start crying when you say that I feel so sorry 😔

i feel maybe changing the fuel filter and that air lock issue you had may have caused this fuel pump failure

What a great video! I really enjoyed watching you deal with each of the problems you encountered. Bit of a bombshell ending though! I hope it all works out for the best. 😀

Liked the content, hated the unnecessary music! 👍

You have come this far- and fixing it makes great content and gets the views so a no brainer- source good second hand parts and fix it. Borescope the cylinders first and if they are ok then the engine will be fine.

"Audi specialist". They were special for sure. Also - what a typical Audi thing to happen in the end.

awesome job on the bumper, shame about what happened with the fuel system, Great vid 👍👍

Enjoyable vid mate. Good luck sorting it out...

GOGOGO. I love your storytelling, feels exactly like Mat Armstrong's videos, and just a general vibe to watch. Continue with the build, man, don't scrap it. The content will pay for itself!
