Technical Evaluation & Compliance Statement Regarding R22 PRO

It is important to clarify that this model is developed and manufactured in strict accordance with international design specifications for hydraulic excavators and industry safety standards. The R22 series has successfully passed the TÜV Rheinland CE certification.
Based on our technical assessment:
* Design & Mechanical Validation: All core structural components (boom, stick, etc.) undergo Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and stress testing to ensure reliability under rated loads. The severe deformation observed is the result of extreme lateral impact from the rollover accident or overloading, which exceeds the mechanical safety limits of the original design.
* Safety Compliance: Our units are built to ROPS (Roll-Over Protective Structures) international standards. The fact that the cabin remained intact during the reported rollover proves the structural integrity of our safety design.
* Hydraulic & Cooling Standards: This model's cooling and hydraulic parameters meet all industrial design indicators. The overheating mentioned is closely linked to secondary factors like exhaust leaks, clogged debris, and coolant circulation issues following the accident, rather than design defects.

At least he was honest about breaking the window himself. If that was a 'warranty claim', I'd have lost it. 😂 Can't fix operator error with a wrench.

They have added a case drain to the machine and they have fixed the hoses isticking out for the quick attach, as now they run straight down the boom on all of the models.

I appreciate the real review of a machine that has been used. Thank you. Seems like a machine with 1,500 hours 😳

Thanks for the video, appreciate your time in making it.   Was very informative to see what parts wear out after hard use.  This info will help me watch these weaker points on my own machine or reinforce the weaker parts you shown have failed.

I'm just here for the Dachshund! 🐶 But seriously, that seat heat issue is an easy DIY fix with some heat shield tape. Not a dealbreaker.

Great video and thanks for doing it, but my 3ton has 100 hours and it still looks and operates like new. I have beat on mine as well but man this one looks like it has 3000+hours😢

do you have some excavator in the field from huayee at the same range of building size which were also by a  cutomer longer in use and how are there the qualtiy situation?

Cam great vid…Is that bucket damage from the thumb, now its bent is probably too short & bucket curling on it. My 1.8T is double the hours, run it with mechanical sympathy, slow is smooth, smooth is fast, if digging’s hard I fit a ripper. Put a bag of shims thru curl pivot/linkage & quick hitch to reduce sideways shimmy. Farm & forestry use. Doesn’t get hot & always works, Yanmar 3TNV70, Parker pump, Eaton drive & slew. I have had rust under paint in places, sanded & touched up in annoyingly close but different colour…

Will you be doing a deep dive into the issues and repairs? I'd love to hear/see the parts availability and repair process/costs. Also, overheating fix and AC performance issues. Seems like RIPPA could use the machine for R&D? Heck, if I lived nearby, I'd take it to tinker. I want a 2 ton machine and really appreciate this review.

I wonder how a similar Typhon, Kymron, Bull, Huayee, etc would compare?

I also saw mention of a protected quick attach upgrade. Does that machine have it?

Rent a Kubota u17 with similar hours and check the slop on it.

Your WORDS my mini excavator "PRO" guy. And you are so,so TRUE. you show whats happening to these MINI 😊❤😊 that I love the design of them "ALL" 😊 anyone who rants on you just (Delete) them. Don't give them a waste of your time. Telling all us watching the "TRUTH" if anyone rants about (Jump starts) I do NOT care what they have to say. Having Run Case backhoe 580 series and now OWNING my own 19000 pound  baby boy play toy. The great Dynahoe-190 😊❤😊 digs 19 feet deep the dipper arm is over 10 feet alone 😊 my bucket is a monster 2 feet wide and almost 4 feet deep. 😊 I have had to jump START so many Case Backhoes some brand new ones. Its just the tools of the trade. On my Fire Engine a Spartan Gladiator pumper in the back roll up door compartment I always carry my Honda 2000 generator with .y huge Engine STARTING jumper the biggest and best one Harbor freight sells. I also carry a portable Air compressor plus my small (Cat) jumper plug in type. All that is if my TWO massive battery for the Fire Engine ever need a little help if out at a vehicle classic car show. And guess were I have used the small (Cat) jumper twice on two different classic vehicle one was a heavy duty of road very custom rock crawler truck. He left his lights "ON"  daaaDavy 😮 "O" my goodness he needed a "JUMP" thats what I LOVE ❤️ about your videos YOU show a JUMP START 😊 it has nothing, Nada, to do with the quality of the mini you are showing that did hard work. I totally understand how frustrating it is for YOU my friend to just try and FILM a product brand, tell about it. Tell whats happening in the world of mini excavator. 😊 I want one so,so bad to sit next to my other play toy. I have always wanted a fully revolving excavator that looks like a BIG one that you can have for your yard. People need to understand that a mini has its limits on digging ect. It is not a BIG heavy duty major American brand of excavator it has it's limits on what it can do. 😊 I will always LISTEN to you, and really THINK and LEARN from you Mr. PRO mini excavator guy 😊😊 you Rock in my book thank you for all your videos and understanding of these fantastic little excavator line.😊

Thats why I bought the Shantui....2.7T or STE35sr. I had $50k to spend and bought the excavator, equipment trailer, tilt bucket, case drain and had $20k left over.

Great video Cam. Since you've seen them in person which chinese brand in your opinion will hold up the best over time? Specifically hauyee or rippa? Do you suggest any others?

A if you buy a Chinese mini excavator would you suggest changing the engine oil and hydraulic fluid out of it before you use it

I would be interested in seeing how you would repair or replace the cushion valve. My R22 does something similar. Not only does it move when weighted it also feels like the swivel has very little power. It can’t really push dirt or other material sideways. Also I agree with the cabin overheating. I plan on adding heat and sound deadening. The lack of insulation makes the cabin very noisy. I will keep an eye on the thumb and tracks. Oh, and I had a loose negative battery terminal which caused it not to start and started smoking. An easy fix but another sign of Chinese quality control not being what it should be

It seems that the right hours are 884hrs and over... Is there local guarantee-service and spare parts too?

Built my own hydraulic machine...what i learnt was hydraulics are powerful, and its real easy to abuse things,and get real transformer like, and break them...if you do it commercially then maybe you get your money back, but even if you fix it yourself, its not worth the hassle. I am a lot gentler operator now ,having had to fix myself everthing i broke....i have 2x2" rams on a bucket that can probably lift 4 ton, but my reliefs are set, so i cant do it.Think you get what you pay for.
