Now that you have a decent sized diesel, you'll find you can reduce throttle speed to work. The Rippa still looked jerky, but is shouldn't be. I run my 3.5ton Komatsu at around ¼-⅓ throttle for most work, only running full to move a distance or breakout heavy clay or rock. Keeps the noise down, the movement smooth and plenty of fuel in your tank. Welcome to a farm sized machine - you'll love the advantages.

Every man should have one.

Mine isn't as large or heavy being a 2.5 ton machine but my cab has a lot more room and for the money I don't think I went wrong its a serious time and back saver and if I never use it to turn a dime its already paid for itself just moving heavy stuff around and giving me easy access to the earth beneath my property

Im so glad im short. At 5'8" my r32 is just made for me.

Glad to see you got one too try out. I bet your breakout force is low and is why that stump stayed. I have 35 hours on mine now and can tell you without a doubt it's a beast! Keep up the good work! Oh and that's why I got the 32-3. I sat in the 4 at GSA and my head hit the ceiling without the glass up. Rippa should take note.

This is what I was going to buy but I didn't fit! It was made for a short little guy. They didn't have a bigger cab. I hit the top, and the seat was too small. Right excavator but I have to replace the cab to use it. In Arizona, you need a cab if you're going to work. The temp range at my place is -2F to 109F

Well thought-out built machine like a Cadilac, A/C, backup camera, easy access, ect.! Great review too!

Thank you for R-32 video. I was impressed all that tight tuning and your tracks stayed on. I need to find time to see it in person, touch it, get attachment bundle together , and see what total price is.

Thank you for the deep dive R32 video! In the 3.5 ton class, operators have some nice choices to check out, including Rippa, Rhinoceros, Sunward, etc. It’s best for prospective buyers to check out several brands to see what fits best.

These are extremely capable machines. Wait until you put a set of steel tacks on this machine and then let me know what you think. They feel even more stable when lifting heavy boulders and logs. If you live out in a rocky area you will appreciate the durability of the steel tracks. Once again great content!

Would be nice to compare other 30 series excavator. Love your channel so much great information. I'm excited to make a smart purchase. I'm already looking at GSA Equipment. I'm planning on stopping by to try out some equipment. Thank you I'll be dropping your name brother.

This sized machine is basically the smallest one that would be really useful on a farm.

many opperators of bigger machines turn by lifting up one end of the tracks and rotating the cab. It helps prevent throwing a track. It would be nice to also see how high it can lift itself with boom and blade.

Greg, looks like "retirement" is suiting you. Loving all the recent videos.

Grease those zerks! [As a Kiwi I love that Americans invented a special word so the wouldn't have to say 'nipple'!] A commercial operator would top up all of them daily or every 8 hours of run time. Cab swing ring zerk weekly works for me as it's a pain unless someone swings the cab as you grease. The R32's pins all have replaceable bushes which is excellent.
As an aside to the nipple comment, as a 12 year old doing metalwork class [shop] we weren't allowed to swear. For some reason the 'Flat Bastard' file was extraordinary popular and got requested loudly an awful lot!
