How anyone can say this frame is acceptable when it's more deformed than a plastic chair in a bonfire is beyond me. My local bike shop CLIFF PRATT CYCLES, on Spring Bank in Hull supplied this.
The customer went back and was met with disinterest and was told to send it to Mapdec.
Obviously, the guy has sense so he brought it along to me for some sarcastic reaming. Since making this video, the frame has been in use with no issues.
On a serious note, Scott have claimed I am unqualified to work on their frames (and presumably bikes in general) so I called up one of their dealers to ask what qualifications they had and they said a cytech 1.
I would asked if their QA/QC department has valid eye test certificates, if they don't then specsavers do them for 15 quid.
