Do people know the mascara exists and doesn’t have the crazy risks as extensions that don’t usually look good at all, mascara usually looks better anyway in my opinion

You're not meant to wear lashes overnight period.

I will never get this done. I do not play with the health of my eyes.

I’m an esthetician and during esthetics school, I’ll never forget when one of my classmates accidentally glued her client’s eyes shut bc we were never properly trained long enough before working on actual people. It was just traumatizing all around for the client and the student 😮‍💨

tell me why this shitty mf teacher we had was acting like the client was being dramatic and overreacting 🙄 but honestly, we all hated her and she eventually quit after only being there not even a month. Mind you, she was the replacement for the teacher who got fired 🙃

People just don't love their natural self. From our hair to our nose, lips, eyes, lashes, cheeks, boobs, belly, @$$, thighs,.....

I”ll stick  to mascara

People are way too comfortable playing with their EYES. Wear the strip lashes or rock mascara. It’s not worth infections and potential blindness!😮

I used to think lash extensions made me look more feminine but then I realized lash extensions give such a harsh look on a woman. Much more beautiful and feminine without them.

If women can just love themselves and keep their money in their saving’s accounts, that would be the real miracle. The billions given to corporations for the fantasy of twinning for inclusion is so tiring. It’s ok to take pride in your appearance but the need to keep up with beauty trends is costing ppl money, health and some, their lives. 🤦🏽‍♀️. The companies pushing the narratives don’t care how much debt, illness (physical and mental) and/or death it causes you as long as you fork over the $$$$. The celebrities, influencers, content creators and general ad campaigns are directed to get you to create a need for their products so you will fit in with society. True society couldn’t care less, most women go makeup free or wear minimal makeup even the ones who are paid by said companies.

I honestly do not understand how some of these beauty trends became popular. To me they look unnatural rather than beautiful. It seems like people are willing to put almost anything on themselves just to follow the latest trend without thinking about the long term effects. The glues. The chemicals. The constant treatments. Sometimes it feels like health takes a back seat to appearance. Trends come and go but taking care of your body should always come first for real they look like they are wearing mini brooms

Cornea specialists must be making a killing from lash extensions alone. No wonder they have no appointments available for months- so many lash extension mishaps are out there.

Just do your own lashes with clusters! I do mine and my lashes are still full long and healthy!

the one and only time i paid to get my lashes done i regretted it. i was 17, this was just over a decade ago and i wanted lashes but knew nothing about them, the place where i got my brows threaded at the time offered what they called lash extensions. what it actually was is cluster lashes with ardel glue ffs. thats not the worst thing considering it was cheap, the fact she glued them to my fking lash line and not my lashes obviously messed my eyes up until i was able to get them all off. the pain man, the pain

I don’t know how ppl would trust anyone to play in their eyes. Your eye area is extremely delicate and a lot of lash techs are not even fully qualified and have the education to even practice. A lot of ppl need proper training not a 2 day course and a basic certificate 🤦🏾‍♀️

Who the hell doesn’t think that something bad could happen from putting glue right on your eye? Just wow ladies
