Two regular people, loaded bikes, and no big plan. Part 1 of our ride down Baja’s Highway 5, from Mexicali toward San Felipe and Puertecitos on the Sea of Cortez.
Day one was 40.4 miles. We left Jardines del Lago, rolled south out of town, and camped on the Río Hardy at Campo las Cabañas. Hot meal, palapa, and a sunset over the water.
If we can do it, you can too. You just have to start.
