TOOL does it again! 🔥 Today on Rhythm N Swirl, we're reacting to “The Patient” a track that takes its time, builds the tension, and then completely pulls you into the experience.
The atmosphere, Maynard James Keenan’s vocals, Danny Carey’s drumming, Adam Jones’ guitar work and Justin Chancellor’s bass create the kind of layered sound that makes TOOL so fascinating to react to. 🎸🥁
We’re continuing our journey into TOOL, and “The Patient” gave us plenty to talk about. That BUILD! 😳

Millhouse, my favorite artists are Tool and Prince. Both GOAT tier. You can do this! 😆
No discussion of The Patient’s affliction is being patient? Aw!
Today.... my favorite part is in the outro where it skips a beat one time. I didn’t hear it until recently. It’s saying even as you’re patient, there’ll still bumps down the road. Not many other bands offer me that type of “discovery” after years of listening. Thanks for sharing!
By the way, great reaction, as always.
Best wishes from Germany : Gerry, THE PATIENT subscriber ! LOL !
