I don't know if it's nostalgia or not, but I grew up loving the TMNT 1990 movie and still love it to this day, 32 years later. No matter how old I get, this movie will always be a masterpiece. So re-watchable, quotable and dark when it needs to be. The only 2 franchises I still watch from my childhood and will still watch as an old man is this movie, the sequel 'Secret of the ooze' and the original 3 seasons of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.

The critics also gave movies like fight club,2001 a space Odyssey, and predator negative reviews when they first came out.

I feel like the only reason critics love Cuties is because it's an arthouse film and they should know that not all arthouse films are automatically good.

As much as I have yet to see The Great Gatsby, I actually haven't seen the RT score yet until recently and when I saw it I was shocked it was like at 40%. I thought it was in the high 70s or low 80s.

The Disney revival era was in harmony but then came Ralph Breaks The Internet to destroy that era and all did was become a big slap in the face the first movie and it's a movie i hate so much i tore it apart on Letterboxd.

You just did a ranking of all the motion capture animated films, and you included The Polar Express at number one. That film will technically qualify on this list because it had a mixed Rotten Tomatoes score of 55 or 56 percent.

The 1990 Ninja Turtles movie is panned by critics because they don’t know the source material. They never watched the cartoons. If they did, they were probably expecting something more campy like an Adam West Batman movie. Instead we got a movie more dark and gritty. I love it too. I met Judith Hoag and the original April voice actress at conventions. I got selfies with them.

Your Kermit the Frog in Star Wars joke is always gold.

As of today how would you rate wreck it Ralph 2 and beauty and the beast 2017?

The Polar Express I'm baffled isn't loved more. Sure, the CGI is off putting, but that aside, I don't think there's a major problem with it

I’m really glad that you came around on the last Jedi. I remember when you gave it a 10 out of 10.

Time for another list where my opinions very from popular to unpopular.
10. Saw (2004)
9.  Captain America: Civil War (2016)
8. Toy Story 4 (2019)
7. Ralph Breaks the internet (2018)
6. Man of Steel (2013)
5. Ghostbusters (2016)
4. Captain Marvel (2019)
3.Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (1971)
2. Star Wars: The Last Jedi (2017)
1. Cuties (2020)

Honorable Mention
Incredibles 2 (2018)

A movie that audiences on rotten tomatoes got wrong.
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (2019)
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005)
Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016)
Spider-Man 3 (2007)

You're asking why critics love 'Captain marvel' and the live action Disney remakes. Because it's Disney. I know not all of their movies get amazing reviews, but most do.

My picks include
Atlantis the lost empire ( I don't know why it was so criticized when first came out it had great characters and beautiful animation)
Rock and rule (it was such a disaster when it first came out it's so unique and breathtaking)
Small soldiers  (it's a good film it's really fun, it has good satire I don't know why it was hated it's a classic)
TMNT 2007 (very underrated ninja turtles and some people prefer the 2014 film over that one)
Heavy Metal (I get some of its criticism but it's really beautiful, trippy, thrilling, crazy and pure fun)
Titan ae (very fun sci fi animated adventure people should have saw it for its creative and beautiful story and its breathtaking visuals)

Joe Bell: It was okay. Mark Wahlberg and Reid Miller were good, but the non-linear narrative didn’t work.

Spencer: Another movie that’s just okay rather than great. Kristen Stewart is fine, but not Oscar worthy. It didn’t need to go the surrealist horror route, though.

Big Daddy: Never saw it, but I remember seeing that it was playing in movie theaters at the time my uncle took me to see The Phantom Menace

Ralph Breaks The Internet: Didn’t get a chance to see it because my grandfather died at the time it came out, and I ended up forgetting about it.

The Mighty Ducks: Decent kids movie. Nice performances by Emilio Estevez and a pre-Dawson’s Creek Joshua Jackson.

Beauty And The Beast: I actually liked this movie. Not as good as the original, but I thought Emma Watson and the rest of the cast were great.

Die Hard With A Vengeance: Haven’t seen it.

Captain Marvel: Haven’t seen it.

The Sandlot: Haven’t seen it.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi: I love it. I’ll defend this movie against the haters any day.

Over The Top: Haven’t seen it.

The Matrix Resurrections: Probably not going to see it.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Haven’t seen it. Never been a Ninja Turtles fan.

All That Jazz: I really like this movie. Bob Fosse did a good job basically making a film about himself

Tenacious D In The Pick Of Destiny: Haven’t seen it.

Cuties: Haven’t seen it and I never will see it.

Hillbilly Elegy: A decent movie, but nowhere near Ron Howard’s best.

Mulan: I thought it was okay. Not as good as the animated movie, but I don’t get a lot of the extreme hate for it.

All Dogs Go To Heaven: Haven’t seen it.

Just wondering, which film do you hate more. Beauty and the Beast or The Last Jedi?

Can’t wait to see films what audiences got wrong.

I don’t listen to Rotten Tomatoes. There are some critics I do listen to. Korey Coleman and Martin Thomas from Double Toasted I listen too. I listen to Jermy Jahns. I listen to John Flickinger. I listen to Dan Murell from Screen Junkies. I listen to a couple of other critics to see if they see what they think about the movies. I listen to my own opinion. If I like a movie then I like it. If I hate it then I hated it. I grade movies on a letter scale from A+, A, A-, (degrees of excellent) B+, B, B-, (which are degrees of very good) C+, C, C- which are degrees of Ok or Meh when it comes to movies. D is garbage but not crap. F is crap. I don’t bother with plus or minus when it comes to D or F.

For me personally I'd say step brothers, hot rod, die hard with a vengeance, Billy Madison, cable guy, and Austin powers the spy who shagged me. Also so many more

I just watched Matrix resurrections and honestly I'm not gonna lie I enjoyed it 🙂😎👍
