I’d like to say “look how far we’ve come” but it’s more like “look how far we’ve fallen”

I’m now a teacher and my students are around the age i was when bo2 first came out and they talk to me about bo7 lol such a full circle moment

15 Fucking Years

26:05 I remember when the CoD campaigns removed your HUD when nothing was happening, with only subtitles and maybe the crosshairs still visible.

The “What’s his/her story” clips are killing me😂

Campaign felt like an entire ad for endgame. Literally 90% of the campaign missions take place in endgame areas lol

I hated how they introduce Emma Kagan as a villain, with no build up and no real reason as to why she is the way she is. There's a lore piece in bo7 where they tell you she was the protégé to Suvati Dumas that spy lady from bo6 that helped shape modern day Avalon at the end season 6 in bo6 and that's it, that's all we know of Emma Kagan. they write and introduce her as the new villain that has good potential and then proceeded to do absolutely nothing with her but "kill" her off in the season 1 opening cinematic and then do the old "the-person-you-thought-was-the-villain-was-not-really-the-villain-because-this-random-guy-was-the-true-villain-afterall" for the second time in a row. LIKE BRO, WHAT?! are these writers smoking.

Alternate Title: "Chopper spitting facts for 1 hour and 37 minutes"

I feel like at this point Treyarch thinks black ops = yeah let’s just make the most trippy whatever experience we can think of, doesn’t need to make sense

As the Great Jonathan Ferguson, Keeper of Firearms and Artillery at the Royal Armouries Museum in the UK which houses a collection of thousands of iconic weapons throughout history once said, "it is festooned with nonsense"

37:48 Yep you missed it and so did most of the player base. It is an extremely obscure option that I recently found out about, the only way for both Karma and Harper to be alive is to first not save her during Karma and then not go on the strike force mission to rescue her. This being canonized feels like it disrespected both the players' and Section's competence.

That campaign looks like they really wanted to make a borderlands game

It’s time to let COD die, or at the very least yearly releases.

They couldn't even keep their characters' face consistent let alone the story. They literally just recast the protagonist and changed his face.

The fact that you got Nolan North to do with cameo is awesome 😎

My girl and I just had our first kid in our early 30’s and here I am playing bo7 with a baby strapped in my front backpack. It actually happened.

To quote Count Dooku, I've been looking forward to this.

Rip into Black Ops 7.

When the voice actors saying yeah bro shoulda just stuck to the last one. You know it’s over

I hadn't actually seen the campaign gameplay aside from the giant dude or whatever, but seeing it in this video is giving me second hand embarrassment, even though I quit CoD back at BO3. Knowing Activision and their practices I doubt the devs even had any say at all.

when i was living in a broken home and had no wifi i booted up bo1 and beat the campaign on veteran to give myself motivation to do something outside of just trying to survive irl

to see you cant even play campaign without wifi now really just makes you think how much these developers really care about their players like they say they do (ik grass is green or whatever but it really does hurt looking back at the series that got me though that not even allowing that same offline play in a later iteration)
