THANK YOUU, ive been watching so many videos of people imitating ariana's jaw movements thinking its a secret to riffs when in reality its just gonna make your jaw tense

I just have to say that I recently discovered how much jaw tension I was carrying. I was over-widening my vowels in order to get more brightness, and I was moving my jaw with my tongue - they were not acting independently as they should. Once I focused on fixing both of those things, and just thinking about a relaxed jaw and vocal tract in general, it is amazing how much freer my singing got and how much easier it was for me to lock into resonance.

Needless to say, I think everything you're saying is spot on!

Hey there really love your videos ✨,  I'm trying to overcome tongue root tension, tongue goes back while singing, and even 5 mins of humming causes right side throat pain, and it takes days to recover, your tongue independence exercises were pretty good, but I'm still trying to overcome this tongue tension haven't been able to sing since the past 3 yesrs due to this!

I have a posterior tounge tie, so i have so much tension in my tounge, jaw and neck. So question…is tightness in the jaw actually what’s the main issue?

0:07 this is sadly false, it’d be a cool fact otherwise.
Careots take about 200N to break through, your finger would be abput 1,400N
(In american units i think you use lbs? Even though that’s not how force works. Idk apparently the difference is then 45 vs 335 lbs. The human jaw can do at max 600N so like 130 ish lbs. Or like around a third, we left precision behind long ago.)
