A year ago, we filmed a video about what we were most excited for before moving to the UK — back when we'd only ever visited, never actually lived here. This time, we're watching it back and being honest about what actually held up.
In this episode, we react to our own "before we moved" video for the first time since filming it — including our very serious excitement over the food, the cooler weather, having stairs in our house, British telly, all the traditions and history, and of course, Christmas.
But watching it back led us somewhere we didn't expect — into a real conversation about what actually matters to us now, a year into living in Britain, that wasn't even on our radar back then.

We’ve found a lot sell walking/ hiking attire and most have great sale prices on their products presently to make way for Christmas stock so good time to look at places like that at the moment. X
The best winter coat I ever had though was a rough old labourer's donkey jacket, I can't ever remember rain getting through that...maybe it was covered with grease from all those fried breakfasts 😄 And nobody ever seems keen to pick a fight with a guy wearing a donkey jacket.
Polarn o pyret is a great scandi brand for kids, although pricey, it washes and washes.
