Numberjacks was so good

4 from the numberjacks looks like jack manifold. 😭

When I was young I used to run behind the couch every time Margaret Thatcher came on the TV because I thought I would have a nightmare if I saw her

I loved numberjacks as a kid actually, however that one green blob did keep me from sleeping if anyone knows what I’m talking about. Pretty sure that’s where I got my fear of possessions.

The fact the number jacks was basically my early childhood, and then I grew into a huge horror fan is insanely funny to me

All the Numberjacks Characters were Incredibly Uncanny, Especially Spooky Spoon and The NumberTaker. Rosey and Jim were also Nightmare Fuel

Imagining that the number taker gets gunned down by British armed officers makes me able to sleep at night

7:36 Coldest shot in media history

Whenever I'm ill, I'll always say to my friends that I've got the "dreaded lurgi" which is funny because that's a phrase from the numberjacks that I'll never give up.

I think Numberjacks was terrifying because of the horrific CGI animation.
Also, how does In The Night Garden count as terrifying? I love that show!

It was amazing to watch George discover the horrors of Mr Noseybonk in real time

To quote Charlie Brooker “he looks like the kind of person who would sneak into your bedroom at night and knife you and knife you and knife you and knife you”

10:34 i always used to watch Diddy TV lol only now just noticed that the name choice aged well 😭

Why isn’t the creepy walrus from that Pingu-episode in this video? Traumatised me for life!

I once had a hallucination that the number 7 from numberjacks was just staring at me on an Aldi conveyer belt

Oh god, yes, the 'are you my mommy' kid to me was the most terrifying monster in the entire Doctor Who series. I still have nightmares of this kid. Mind you, I'm 50 years old and saw every single episode of Doctor Who. This one stirred something in my sub-consciousness I can't get rid of.

my favourites were:

- swashbucklers
- numberjacks
- team umizoomi
- small potatos
- bubble guppies
- in the night garden
- jake and the neverland pirates
- hey dougee
- Curious George
- raaraa
- rastamouse

these were seriously goated shows bro the main foundations of my childhood 😭

Numberjacks was one of my many childhood shows but also one of the most traumatizing. Literally all the villains except that one human that had a vacuum were terrifying.

"We have to look for another four"
"Show them your mum"
I'm crying 🤣

Here’s some characters I used to cry at:
-Milkshake Monkey. Fucking hated him.
-The stupid ass bird in the clock in Mr Maker. Scared the shit outta me
-Little Miss Muffet from Show Me Show Me?? I think it was her screaming that scared me.

Surprisingly I wasn’t scared of any of the NumberJack villains though-

ABC kids (Australian) is just so comforting and nostalgic. Yeah, some of them are proper freaky, but it was always so nice to hear our horrific accents after all the British and American programs. Almost 15 years later, and I can still recite the playschool theme, and the Wiggles big red car is still an absolute banger.
