Join me on a magical journey through the late 90's to see if my favorite childhood movies still hold up. We'll look back on classics like Kazaam, Inspector Gadget, Small Soldiers, Rocketman, and The Pest. If there are any other 90's movies you think I should talk about in a future video, let me know in the comments!

I've found my people. Crazy you guys all love these same five movies. Any others I should talk about for a part 2?

Small Soldiers deserves far higher praise than 50% on RT.

The Pest has some good jokes throughout but the Voodoo Mambo intro tops everything

The pest was such a monumental piece of my childhood. I'm glad to know I wasn't alone.

Rocket man. “It wasn’t me!” Permanently burned into my memory.

0:21 I still watch “The Pest” to this day in 2026.

I was probably about 8 years old when I saw The Pest on tv for the first time. I really enjoyed it, and it took until high school for me to realize that The Pest is just a modern adaptation of the short story The Most Dangerous Game.

Phil Hartman sitting in his chair, saying to himself, “I think WWII is my favorite war” always stuck with me in Small Soldiers…just a throwaway hilarious line

Small solders deserves more love. The movie isn't bad at all it's a 90s classic kids movie, great designs, decent story, I still love the movie

I was working at McDonald's in 1997 and remember the Inspector Gadget bits and pieces for the Happy Meals.

Small Soldiers is definitely an underrated masterpiece. It should have been a huge hit. I remember it being popular when I was a kid but maybe that was just among me and my cousins. The scene with the Barbie dolls coming to life and going wild traumatized me as a kid.

Rocket Man is unironically an absolute banger of a film.

Man I still watch The Pest and Small Soldiers love them

Inspector gadget has one of the best mid credits scenes of all time with the henchmen anonymous. That alone elevates the entire movie

I still love The Pest. Watched it recently and loved it more as an adult. I don’t know about the actors anymore though, that’s another story.

I think Rocket Man accounted for 70% of our movie rentals from Blockbuster back in the day. So happy to see it on this list and to know that it still holds up as a funny kids movie
