4 years late, but you might (by some astronomical degree) be interested to know that Full Metal Jacket feeling like 2 completely different films actual ties into the whole "Jungian Duality of Man" that Joker was on about. Not expecting that to be what makes you finally like it, I just found that interesting because I only learned this recently and it finally made sense—but keep in mind this was someone who actually enjoyed it!

Ladies and gentlemen, my first video to receive a copyright claim. I have tried my best to not put audio in these videos, but sometimes you just gotta get the point across, ya mean?

I can't get on board with you about the 1989 Batman lol, but it's very refreshing to see someone else with a similar opinion about Star Wars. I haven't even seen the original trilogy and have no interest in it at this point. I'm 35 and haven't seen them yet, so it's likely I never will. I've seen the prequel trilogy and was indifferent about it. And, like with the originals, I haven't seen any of the newer ones and have no desire to. I respect the movies and recognize why people enjoy them, but they aren't for me. It's like the way I feel about The Beatles. Total respect for what they accomplished and how they changed music history.. but I don't care for them, and they aren't my style. That doesn't mean they were a bad band, though. And that's one thing that bothers me with most people who phrase their opinions like objective facts. "I didn't like X, therefore it's bad." Really bothersome when people do that and only serves to showcase their egos, rather than their opinions. Anyway, I digress. I gotta say, regardless of what anyone thinks about your content (I happen to enjoy it, myself) and opinions, you deserve way more subs if not just for the effort you put into making videos. I wish nothing but the best for you and you've certainly earned my sub. Sorry for the novella lol

I love Batman (1989), Imm okay with your opinion, but what were you smoking when you declared it “not dark?” As for Batman Returns, my reaction was more so 🤨. Like Toy Story 4, I put Batman Returns in the category of movies I don’t want to think because I have no idea what to think of them. Where the dark edginess ins the 89 movie worked perfectly. The dark edginess in Batman Returns made me feel confused and uncomfortable, like when Selena is brought back to life by cats, the penguin being written like a monster yet directed like we’re supposed to sympathize with him, it especially weirded me out the way Christopher Walken lured him in with a fish, and the way he ate it. Speaking of Walken, him doing an impression of himself is one of Batman Returns’ saving graces me thinks.

For me:

Avatar 2009

Obsession (2026)

The Notebook

Zoolander

Beauty and the beast 2017

Disneys Pocahontas

Barbie (2023)

Wonder Woman 2017

Its a mad mad mad world (I thought it was just ok but somewhat dated amd I prefer Rat Race over this movie!)

The jerk (I love Steve Martin But to me, this is not one of his best films. I just thought this one was okay.)

Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory (I like this movie fine but I hate it's reputation and its somewhat dated! I prefer the remake better! Also, as much as I like Gene Wilder, I do feel like he was slightly miscasted.)

Birds of prey

Most Marvel movies (I have mixed opinions on them and like a couple of them. However, I do feel Marvel movies are overhyped and Every character has to make funny sarcastic jokes, which takes away any seriousness to the movies Imo!)

I only liked Batman Returns cause Michelle was so smoking hot as Catwoman

Keaton is way better that Bale there is nothing that you can do about that😂

I thought Apocalypse Now was pretty bad.

disney hercules the first part half good the second part half boring
