How Many Deaths Are There In Epic

Credit to ‪@gigi2820‬ for the drawing I used for the thumbnail, I was really struggling

This video took forever and I'm kinda scared to put it up because both the Odyssey and Epic are kinda old by now (Especially by internet standards) But I think this is my favourite I've done ever, I'm so glad I got a way to sort of honour epic and geek out about it, plus I tried some drawings and Pixel art which is real new to me

Anyway thank you so much for watching, I hope you enjoyed

11:42 ”all of you are going to die” when you have a 108 vs. 2 battle to the death, and the 2 are alive in the end, it’s very hard to say any of the 108 are alive in

Neo wasn’t actually there for Zeus’ lightning strike. None of the names mentioned in The Horse and The Infant were, as they weren’t Odysseus’ men, they were other Achaean soldiers from various different kingdoms. Neo, for example, was the son of Achilles, that’s why Odysseus says “Avenge your father, kill the brothers of Hector.”

Actually all of the deaths were Eris’ fault for throwing that stupid apple

Holy peak… kill count…

1:05 Neo actually wouldn't have even been on the ship, since none of the soldiers listed at the beginning go with Odysseus, since they were mostly other kings.

This.. this is so underrated man! Shit's more well edited than a movie bro and under 1000 views. Keep it up man you'll be famous one day

Odysseus' apology was actually an actual apology in greek

4:02 I believe Polyphemus actually got 72 kills, cause in the cut song w/ Perimedes he says that 72 men died to the cyclops, but idk if you wanna count that or not
also I believe its confirmed Odysseus kills all the suitors, plus theres also Anticlea, who was implied by Aphrodite to have died during the cyclops saga while waiting for odysseus
and the cow in Mutiny doesn't count because Odysseus says the cows are immortal

Good thing you said "*likely*" here

Someone might think you're taking the animations at face value, lol

Does Jorge have like, song commentaries that gave the animators an idea what to draw?

I think 72 man were lost to the cyclops as in the peramidis cut songs he says "yo captain gone soft 72 of our dudes are now lost" and in the circe saga one man died which is elpinor its funny you forgot about him as he is known as the man who was forgotten he died cuz he got drunk on top of circus palace and fell jorge actually references it in thr underworld saga as the amount of man left is 1 less then the anount posidon has left
