This was a concert recorded for Danish TV. Every instrument and voice was individually mic'd and it was recorded over 100+ tracks. Every song was outstanding, particularly 'Conquistador,' 'Salty Dog' and 'Old English Dream.'
Gary Brooker. May you Rest in peace.❤ It's sad that the majority of younger generations do not listen to or are familiar with music like this. Or, attempt to write and compose music like this these days. I'm afraid of the state of music these days. It has become emotionless and over-commercial. I love art. I love love.

In 1967 I was 15 and at the time it just blew me away, little did I know the musical odyssey ahead of me. From Woodstock to the death of Rock in the late 70's as all the older groups faded away. I'm sure other's will disagree but as each of us has their own journey this was mine.
When I was a boy this song choked me up and still does. The music is poetry as well as the lyrics. Some get it some don’t. I appreciate the orchestral and coral version very much.
