Hey you can follow my instagram here if you want to see some more random things I do.

I honestly prefer this style of video. I don't need to see someone in the worst conditions suffering to keep my interest. I'd rather see someone somewhat comfortable in the middle of the chaos that nature can produce.

Nothing more wholesome then a man and his pet New Zealand chicken out camping

Lord, that leg forward chopping had me hollering at the screen. That's how you take an axe to he foot or shin.

I like to watch a person eat, that enjoys their food, and you certainly do.

August 2026 . Amazing journey.  I will never do, thoroughly live watching te motu papatuanuku amazing

I am 69 and never been camping, I so enjoy your videos. Thanks so much from San Diego.🌴

Weka stopping by for a coffee 😂

I enjoy your videos no matter where you are. You just have that presence that makes you want to see what you are doing each time. And your wood gathering skills are very entertaining.

I watch some YouTube channels that are hardcore bushcrafting/survival type camping. Its nice to see some more leisure type camping, and watching someone enjoying what they are doing is fun.

What I've discovered while following you throughout your many styles of enjoying the outdoors is that the lure is not the where...it's the who.  As you've produced more and more videos over the years, you've revealed yourself as a very friendly, engaging and capable fellow who also doesn't shy away from throwing a bit of sarcasm out there every once in a while.  I think I speak for many when I say It's fun to watch a nice guy doing well. 👍🇨🇦

Bird your Soul mate he keep you safe in Bush 🦉never hurt them

Another great video! I laughed about 11:30 when you said you had a visitor, knew right away “who” that would be!

Great video. I was mildly concerned when I saw the tiny tuna can... I thought 'you need more food than that, big fella!'... relieved when you added two more cans followed by half a kilo of cheese. Love the fact you ate the whole pot of food. Keep the videos coming!

Beautiful area the Cobb Valley, Kahurangi National Park! The tent camp was an old system used by government deer cullers in  50s, 60s. Interesting history are the old deer cullers!

You bring so much joy to so many of us. Cheers, from across the ditch 👍.

If you collect the lint from your dryer (if you have one ) and mix it with Vaseline you can use that for a cheap fire starter

treats-based camping genre is my fave
