If you had to name one moment in this documentary that changed how you see Franco Columbu — which was it, and why?

We all need a bro like Franco.

All of us short guys love franco

This was a real documentary. You did a fantastic job.

Im so glad that Arnold never forgotten his friend and vouch for him to bring him to America Arnold was a true friend

I met these 2 guys back in 1971, walking. out of the gym. Franco and Arnold. Laughing, having a good time, I was skipping school.  I went up to talk to them. They were real nice guys. Both of them were beast.😅

By chance I met Franco & his beautiful wife while walking along the Arno river.  I was thrilled because I knew about his competitions and saw him on TV.  My first impression was how small he was.  He was wearing a long sleeve shirt, spoke softly, was friendly and had a great smile.  Great guy I'll never forget that meeting in 1985.

His athleticism especially as a bodybuilder is unbelievable!

Franco's pecs and shoulders combined in such a powerful way. The guy basically had two sets of pecs. It's crazy on anyone it's even rarer on short bodybuilders.

Rest in power, little big guy! The best bromance in world's history!

i was a 70's teenager and Arnold and Franco were mentors to me and my buddies around the gym, RIP Franko and Arnold stay healthy.

Man you truly know how to make a story feel like a movie, bravo brother… bravo 🙏🏽

I was a teenage bodybuilder during the time that Franco won the Olympia.  I injured my back for the first time and so badly that I could hardly walk and my Chiropractor in Orange County couldn't do anything for me because my muscles had tightened up so much trying to protect the injury so I went to Westwood in Los Angeles County to see Franco and he was so strong that he popped my entire spine and released the tension giving me immediate relief.  I returned another time, maybe two (cannot remember) and afterwards it was as if the injury hadn't occurred until the next time I injured it as my spine was the genetic weakness that held me back from becoming better than I had at bodybuilding.  But looking back I should have trained for function and fitness rather than looking impressive and when I learned that Franco died and how (his heart) I knew immediately that it was the result of anabolic steroids that he took years before because as it was stated in this movie, the men of Sardinia have a genetic mutation that results in above average longevity and I know that if Franco hadn't taken the drugs to be competitive enough to be one of the very best bodybuilders in the would he would not have died yet from heart failure. I know lots of guys who are about my age now (60) who have been able to do what I too have done and look a lot more muscular than men my age ever used to be and like myself they either have or will experience heart problems.  In 2021 I developed sudden heart pain immediately following receiving the COVID vaccine and within 13 months I required a quadruple bypass surgery in order to save my life. I am certain that the vaccine would have damaged my heart even if I hadn't received the vaccine but it would have not been quite as bad if I hadn't taken anabolic steroids and excessive amounts of HGH and that's been one of the trade offs: being more muscular and remaining more muscular for longer than if I had never taken them but NONE OF THIS IS AS IMPORTANT AS THIS:
Finally coming out of denial that the Holy Bible is accurate and that Jesus Christ is exactly who the Bible says that He is!  Extraterrestrials are really fallen angels masquerading as aliens in order to mislead and deceive the world just as ghosts are actually demons and for the same reason because Satan and his kind hate humans and know that their time is short and in the utmost bitterness and unreasonable pride will do whatever they can to try and deceive humans from believing in Jesus Christ, just to spite the one who they hate the most (God, real God).  Nowadays there's so much talk about the universe having it's own Godness but that's because people don't want to believe that the universe and everything in it is part of the creation and Jesus Christ before He was Jesus of Nazareth is THE CREATOR.
'in the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God and nothing that was created was created without Him' (John 1:1)

i actually laughed when the sponsored by absolutely nobody happen, someone who gets itt!

19:37...👀!?!!!
"No-one can lift the Car without using their hands...".
Columbu :"Hold my Beer....".

Actually he did deserve the 81s Mr Olympia, i think the judges saw the whole picture. It was like a real miracle, that he got into that from after that horrible injury.

This was a really great documentary, one of the best in this topic.

Now all the top bodybuilders are short.

That was a lovely tribute - thank you! I have a couple of Franco’s books and really enjoyed his sense of humor, along with his discipline and dedication. I remember reading about his death and immediately thinking, “This is really going to tear Arnold up.”

RIP, Sardinian strongman! 💐

Friendship between true brothers R.I.P Franco ❤

What a Marvelous true pure friendship, Arnold from Austria and Franco from Italy was like real Brothers !!!
