Which Mr. O do you think had the worst downfall?

From 85 on bodybuilding became more and more grotesque until competitors became a perverse caricature of a human being.  It wasn't their fault alone. The judges and audiences participated in the journey to where men became such a twisted perversity that  no ancient  Greek sculpture would even recognize them as human.

The real reason Lee called it a career was because he accomplished all of his goals. His final goal was to win that Mr Olympia and set the all time record which he did. So with all his goals achieved, he felt it was time to step away and focus on the next chapter of his life.

Vacuum should become a mandatory pose. That would eliminate some of the HGH/IGF guts.

I had to look what he said about Haney, because there is nothing to say, he retired with the longest unbeaten streak in BB even to this day, no downfall just retirement.

The bodybuilders now have grotesque barely human physiques, they’re extreme drug addicts nowadays and it’s not fitness it’s just body modification.

I never liked Dorian's shape but he ALWAYS came in dryer and more grainy than anyone else.

I think ramy had the biggest downfall due to his potential

Arnold stopped coming back once he met James Cameron. His bodybuilding "downfall" led to some of his biggest successes elsewhere.

Maybe I’m crazy but Haney looked way better than Yates side by side.

"90% of his best"....more like 75%. His legs and overall smaller size put him 3rd, at best.

I after watching this think now Lee Haney is the true version of Mr. Olympia

Rhoden did not have a flat mid section. It was still bloated but not to the same extent as Heath.

Gosh, once someone wins, you mean they can't win forever? And if they can't win forever, they are "downfalls" and "losers"?

How is there a downfall for Haney. He set the record, went out on top, last Olympia was his best showing at age 31, no injuries. No other Mr O went out like that; on top, nothing more to prove and so much more gas left in the tank.

Hadi looked like a monster in the Most Muscular at the 2023 Olympia! I remember seeing that in the stream and was blown away at how big and imposing he looked, one of the very best of all time imo.

I recently learned that Coleman tried to win again in 2007, he was confident he’d win it back, and got 4th place. Ouch!

Dexter Blade came in 2008 conditioned like peak Dorian. It was amazing.

Yates didn’t tear both triceps . Just the tricep that was on the same side as the already torn bicep

If u want an interesting short King Muscle monster Petey Williams in TNA 08 Maple Leaf Muscle was impressive
