there is only one Pacific rim... huh? wdym a second one? nah, that was a fanfic it ain't real😂

Sometimes writer/director need to shut their mouths not all question is needed to be answered😂

A bit of misconception on this video.

ARG in this case means Alternative Reality Game, not Augmented Reality Game. There is a big difference.

In Augmented Reality you are seeing the game projected into reality through digital means, like a camera showing you 3d graphics (think Pokemon go).

And Alternative Reality Game is one where you play as yourself and have to investigate through real life to progress and finish it, and this includes going to a website.

Please do try to pause the video when you're talking 🙏 It just makes it difficult to hear what you're saying when you and the video are both speaking.

33:35 I always thought that Clover was afraid of the Statue of Liberty since it looks like it has a face. Like it's alive.

Human babies have an instinctual fear of snakes. They can recognize faces as a concept.

I could see Clover thinking the statue was some sort of threat.

1:02 that is Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee! There is also a remaster of it coming out this November on modern consoles!

a new Vtuber to add to my list, and you are reacting to PointlessHub wich i have seen no one else do, for now at least but  thats awesome!

Yeah this one is basically the the inverse in quality compared to war of the worlds 2025 as far as any kind of found footage adjacent stuff goes

Btw, i do definitely recommend his Transformers videos (all of them, not just the Bay ones) because he basically started his channel to talk about those

11:50 Hardcore Henry is basically a fusion of John Wick and Deus Ex 3 as the whole setup the MC is guy that was turned into a cyborg and out for revenge against the foes that kidnapped his girlfriend and critally wounding him to the point that he required the cybernetics to survive. this leads to great video game elements - like the POV is meant to be from his cybernetic eye and the process also left him mute so he is a supped up gun toting mute protag XD a fun little action flick but not for those that get motion sick easily as like Pointlesshub hinted - think of all that movement in the fights and stuns of gun fu films like John wick or the matrix series in complete POV lol

also I think the whole its an alien part coming years afterwards might have been just to trying and tie the 2nd film in but then again both the 2nd and 3rd film are more in name e.g have Cloverfield in their names, only till a single refence or easter egg appears in a very "see it all we totally planned all 3 films to work together from the start and are not just shoe horning stuff in as we know fans wanted a proper follow up for years" kind of feeling =/

I love this movie! I have two dvd copies as well as an Amazon Prime digital copy lol.

I remember watching it in media studies but we never got to see the end of it 😢

Hardcore Henry is a WILD movie, 100% recommended if you can handle some shaky cam.
How to describe it wihout spoilers...  imagine Hideo Kojima made a 1st person shooter, then imagine a mildly insane South African director made that game into a full movie, while keeping it first person almost the entire time.

Btw a movie you may want to check out the expanded lore for is the Blair Witch Project. It may not be an ARG but it blurred the line with reality so mucb some people thought the movie was a real piece of found footage.

The basic concept going in is that college students go to a town that is said to have a witch in the woods that caused a guy to murder people and other weird stuff. They went missing. Then police found tapes they left behind and assembled it into a movie. What makes no sense is that people found the backpack with the tapes under a house that burned down in the 50s in ground that hadn't been dug up before. How did a backpack from the 90s end up somewhere touched for 40 years?

Spoooky.

There is the movie, a mockumentary called Curse of the Blair Witch that goes over people in-universe who do and don't believe in the witch and it was one of the first movies to do viral marketing online using a website had missing posters, updates on searching for them, etc.

When it came out a lot of people thought the actors were real people who went missing.

People are mixed on if the movie is scary but I think it works really well with the extra information.

Ok, this video was WAY more interesting than I thought it would be.

Also, I'm so glad you pointed out that fact at 5:31. That's one of the things about Found Footage films that drives me crazy.

Also, Plz react to more Mandaloregaming videos! I've been waiting forever!

I really enjoyed your reaction it's very cute & hilarious while watching a video about my favorite found footage monster movie have an awesome day little skunky           🥰👍

When I was a kid I used to love and also be terrified of this movie lol

PLZ react to more PointlessHub! His content is so good! :face-blue-smiling:

🦨💨❤

What I never got is why would Clover being an alien would ruin the ARG option he describes at 31:00 by itself? It could have been an alien that was lying dormant.

13:24 A video tape is a single physical thing, not a digital "file." What's filmed on the tape is on the tape — the information "printed" magnetically. Something, however, may be recorded over a tape that's already been recorded on (like the monster attack.)
