I hope they charge her for filling a false police report!

They released all the men’s information but call her Jane Doe. It’s fckin sick the mob justice Libs and women utilize is crazy.

"What is your stance on the Cornell 7 case?"
Simple, less boozing and drug use. Grow a little bit of gray matter and start using it, you are now considered to be an adult so start acting like one!

Wow.  Excellent synopsis and logical analysis.  Balanced, fair, and wise.  I am now a subscriber

Thank you so much Batya. You're saying women need to take some accountability and stop acting like children who need to be protected from the consequences of their own stupid decisions.

This case went nowhere because every statement she makes sounds like she set out to entrap them. She starts clarifying statements in a legal context as to what she intended and what happened and categorizes events as acceptable or not. Nobody in history has ever said "If I just drink enough and pass out, then they assault me, at least they will get caught for that." ENTRAPMENT. Yell. Scream. LEAVE. Everything she says could be true, but her own words in the statement and correspondence with the alleged assaulters screams ENTRAPMENT. This case is a loser based on the original evidence. Thats why it wssnt charged.
The victim HAS TO take the stand in this case to tell her story and draw sympathy from the jury. The first thing the defense attorney is going to say is: "Is this your statement....the statement that says: "If I just drink enough and pass out, then they assault me, at least they will get caught for that."?
"Yes It is"
"Well, did you ever think to Yell....to scream....to try to get help......or here's an idea....did you ever think maybe not to have another drink, get up, AND LEAVE...."
"Well....I....."
"Of course you didnt, because you put yourself into this position, and many other positions it seems, intentionally to attempt to entrap my clients!"
"Your honor, I move for an immediate dismissal of the charges against my clients and move to have the witness charged."
So, unless you're from a place like Rhode Island, that will gladly charge you for any false crime that seeks to shut your mouth then force you to plea or get convicted, this case is a loser.

Great job!  Thank you ❤

Id like one of you to explain how you have a Kedamune wager go on in a state where a gram is a felony and a whole house of under age kids are drinking, at bars, and the campus and NOBODY HAS BEEN CHARGED WITH A CRIME, even if you set the sexual allegations aside and im not even certain of that with the drug use and state of mind, but HOW HAS NOBODY BEEN CHARGED with at least underage drinking, this is RIDICULOUS

This notion that everyone is responsible for a person's actions except the person is getting old fast. 🙄

We should all hold off on rash judgements for now. The story is still evolving

It's terrifying how many Americans in the comments on videos about Cornell seem to not believe in "innocent until proven guilty".

The roommate thinks it’s rape because she can’t comprehend having a threesome. She’s filtering it through her morality. Peer pressure and the desire to escape the reality of her actions convinced Jane Doe she was raped.

If you are talking Ochams Razor, the simplest explanation is to look at the broader context. I’m sure this is not the first time such a thing has happened.
I hold Greek Life ( both frat and sorority) compounded by overly permissive universities to explain how such an ugly thing can occur.
First, you have the norms and culture  in Greek life which covertly maintain the use of intoxication and sexual promiscuity.
Second you have a bunch of basicly inexperienced , impulsive kids pumped up on hormones and intoxicants, awkwardly experimenting with sex, drugs and personal boundaries. They are not mature adults with a bunch of life experience to better govern their choices . Third there are tremendous social pressures in these mileau to conform to the norms of Greek life. And finally Greek life is known to find itself seen as being abusive in terms of their pledging and hazing rituals.
Put that all together and you have a circular explanation for what happened. Looking at who’s guilty or innocent is a simple linear explanation that dosent give the situation the proper nuanced examination. This is a multi faceted co-creation.

Even if they did do it, her contradiction will never lead to a guilty verdict! This court case will cost millions that victims need to go into investigstions  after their assaulters that they did not completely flip on. That flip will never lead to a guilty verdict.

First time seeing this channel.
I think this video was great!
Thanks for articulating many of the thoughts I had about what I’ve learned so far about this case.
It can be disheartening to see how many people are completely lost about true justice. It’s truly eye-opening how this mob justice (as you said) hasn’t changed that much since the Middle Ages or witch-hunt trials. People still love public executions.
I think a lot about this stuff and I’m concerned.
Anyway, don’t be discouraged by the comments from the ignorant. They’re not bad people… they just need some guidance. And yes, I realize they can be very dangerous, so we need to be careful at the same time.

IN such a divided culture we are living in, we need some compass (plz note I didn't say moral compass as morality seems a subjective term thesedays...) to view the events unfolding around us. This case of Cornell 7 leaves bitter taste in my mouth... As a GenXer, "gang rape" conjures such an image that is horrifying and pathological... However, this case getting the banner of "gang rape" seems just grossly unjustified... There was no violence to subdue the alleged victim, the victim participated willingly and even supported the males when they were losing consciousness or at throe of vomiting in this process, and it was not 7 hour long continuous raping!! Media needs to wake up and stop pandering to sensationalism to boost their ratings! People get hurt... No one is excusing the misogyny inherent in chat messages that these immature young men circulated about "free p@#$ up there". THAT culture needs to challenged and revised.. Well, looks like we might kinda brush that misogyny a little bit, by destroying these young men's lives... Well, if this was a war, I guess these young men are just casualties... SAD, real SAD. ....  Another thing that needs to be examined: the female culture of ostracizing women who flaunt their sexualities... Everyone is different in sexual styles, and women have been the most vicious people against other women who are freer in their sexual expressions. "Slut shaming" well, haven't we moved forward from that kind of mentality?? When will we women be able to smile at these "sluts" for their free spirits? (actually this IS what happens in Denmark where women are freer!)

The "narrative" isn't different. You just seem to be a bit outdated and not caught up on all the information. The 6 page statement discussed by DA was NOT all of the information. Unfortunately the DA didn't actually see or read all of the transcript and what she said.

Same story..She didn't change it

Yes. This is a great analysis!  I understand the point you’re making: you see responsibility on both sides—the boys’ behavior was wrong, but you also believe the girl participated willingly and only sought consequences after the situation damaged her reputation.  These young adults lack moral compass in their lives.

It’s a sad story, no one is innocent here ! They’re all guilty….of poor “judgement”! Jane Doe &
the men in the case will be stained 🫟, for the rest of their life’s. Because of all the alcohol 🍷 ,drugs, & promiscuity.
No one walks away untarnished. 😒👎
I can only hope the next group of young people will learn from this sad story. 🤞😟

We need to ask, "What was the trauma in this case?"  So, first a note on Post Traumatic Stress Disorder: an expert on traumatic stress has said that traumatic stress becomes a DISORDER from the PUBLIC reaction to the initial stressing incident.  Hence, the need to quickly offer psychological attention to someone who has experienced (seen or heard or physically felt) a traumatic event.  Why?  Because a public response to the precipitating event, which could either be attaching blame to a victim OR simply ignoring said event, is the real, proximate cause of PTSD.  In this case, it appears to me, at least, that it was the shame Jane Doe experienced as a result of being called a "slut" by other women (room mate and others) which was truly traumatizing.  What Jane Doe was at first experiencing after the sexual contact was a narrative of her own which put that event in a context in which the event was normalized.  Where did she get that idea?  I don't know, but such an ideology is not difficult to find in a wider society where feminism and its declaration of female sexual liberation not only normalizes such behavior but approves of it and urges women to participate in it.  Megyn Kelly cites Alex Cooper's podcast as an example.  Many contemporary feminists are now pointing to this kind of feminism as extremely harming of women--men, as well, but exponentially more so for women.  Betty Friedan's advice to women to have sex like men is absolutely ludicrous.  A woman's reaction to sexual intimacy bonds her to her sexual partner.  Men do not bond in this way--they will do the opposite.  They will consider a woman who is sexually so active as source for sex but absolutely never as a potential mate.  This is one of the very most important results of evolutionary psychology.  Women must save sexual encounters for after marriage--an event which in ritual fashion a male commits to a woman as a life-long partner.
