What in the world is going on with the crazy eyebrows of that journalist? Those giant colored-in brows are just bizarre and very distracting as she speaks

Doesn't matter what really happened now that Letitia James is in charge. I hope all those guys get a great lawyer.

Thanks!

Good guests, thanks

Well ladies, requesting two separate origies is sexually liberating or women’s empowerment but calling foul play after weeks of saying you wanted it and people should change how they view sex is INSANE

I think we’re getting hung up on the wrong details here. The Cornell police took a long and detailed statement from Jane Doe. They then summarized it down to a short version of itself in which pertinent details were left out. This is not “she’s saying a different thing”- no she’s been saying the exact same thing (excluding of course the early days when she hadn’t yet processed what happened) from the beginning.

The other misstep here is the fact that the morality of the actions are not always going to translate to the law. And that itself is the problem. The fact that we apparently need SO MUCH evidence to believe this woman, and yet we know this happens frequently, with by and large no consequences. Remember Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation process? We’re upset and talking and making noise about this because if that’s the excuse- that rape never seems to conform to how the law works, WE MUST CHANGE THE LAW.

Ill be glad to hear your thoughts on this, its hard to know what to believe.

Huge waste of time not telling the essence of this.

Definitely incombantsy issue for me. Term limits for everyone 🙋🏼‍♀️

As a voter who ALWAYS votes—I don’t think I’ve missed an election since I voted for H. Ross Perot back in the 1900s—I cannot with this do-nothing Congress and I  detest this group “in charge.” Massie (and goodbye to him) and Ossoff are the two bright spots in my estimation. The rest, they’re just all puppets of money providers. I’ll probably vote out of respect for Susan B. Anthony more than anything else.

I've always loved Mary Catherine.

Excellent point of emphasis re the trickle of information being biased to one side initially. This is true for many contentious news topics. This is problematic because humans are not evolutionarily evolved to accept ambiguity. Survival required prompt definitive conclusions for 300,000ish years. Only in the last 0.001%ish of that has safer/more complex modern society allowed ...and required, the deeper aspects of our relatively new, not yet ingrained tools of rationality such as withholding judgement pending full context to reach valid conclusions. That rationality requires the very hard, anti instinctual work of prioritizing rationality over the more primitive tools of emotion and intuition. Unfortunately our education systems are increasingly training the opposite, leaving a society that largely defers to premature emotionalist responses/conclusions. Kudos to this channel for emphasizing deep analysis including full context (i.e. rationality).

"Christa Pike, sentenced to death for the murder of a classmate 30 years ago, survived the State of Tennessee's attempt to execute her by lethal injection on Wednesday evening. An investigation has been launched, and executions in Tennessee have been suspended. Meanwhile, the UN is calling for any further execution attempt to be abandoned." 😮 Is that à sign of the will of god ? Vincent

There are different kinds of surrogacy -- I believe you're talking about a gestational carrier:  the mother was born with ovaries but no uterus; the baby was biologically unrelated to the baby; there was only one set of actual parents.  It wasn't a case where the surrogate was also the biological mother.

Years ago I heard something I really liked about explaining the difference to kids between tattling v truth telling.  Tattling is just to get someone in trouble.  Truth telling is when you are trying to get help for someone who is being/has been hurt or who hurt someone else because you can't help them by yourself.  So if a kiddo comes to you about something, you can have the "is this tattling or is this truth telling" discussion so they continue to nuance the difference.

my granddaddys democrats  1950 to 1980 general era are not the same party. i hope one day to see it replaced with another. what a awful part today. all the fraud etc.

I don't think most of the country wants to entertain why terrorists do what they  do. that feels like an opinion more than a fact.

And I'll give my opinion I think this is more personal because more women can relate to this.. its intensely felt because many of us know intimately how this all works.  And we are angry

I remember a time when NO ONE reacted to ANYTHING until "both sides" of an incident was made clear. It's like the person that yells the loudest and talks the most is assumed to be "correct". Seems like a bad way to take care of business and a good way to become people who are "witch hunters" rather than fact finders .

Democrats want people not party. So we will support individual candidates that we think are worthy. But we are not throwing our weight behind the Democratic party who we find to be corrupt. And we aren't big fans of billionaires so they can keep their money out of this. In fact keep money out of politics.... the only people with yard signs I've  seen are for republicans and specifically trump.

some guy in my homestate is part of the investigation. I am single so i like tubes and there are always group sex tubes. hard to believe it was only one woman at a time. women in college are just as bad as fraternity men. I was a commuter gi bill student who only went to class when I had to cause I took 33 credits of CLEP so I cant relate to any wild sex parties. I had some in the NAVY and the NAVY women were all wild sexually. It was like a cinemax movie. I am not proud of it. the girl I love since second grade never wrote me back when I wrote her in bootcamp or Id have married her and never went to strip bars and bars and drink as a wild sailor. I just had a broken heart. My brother is a Biker so he makes fun of how I only like one woman at a time. I havent seen or spoke with a pretty woman in years and match sucks. all divorced with kids. thanks for the subtitles princess. all the cashiers I meet are teenagers and I am 53. I am not bill belichick looking to date young girls younger than my niece. jagermeister causes blackouts. dont drink that at a party. i speak from experience.
