"Why would anyone crack the game? That is illegal"
Pirated games rate drop to 0!

"Why would people crack the game, that's illegal"

....It never ceases to amaze me just how much out of touch exectuives are.

Poor Megaman. He didn’t deserve all those cancellations. Thankfully, Megaman 11 turned out pretty good.

The "Why would anyone crack the game? That's illegal!" line was cute but I think max adorability goes to the sales projection of "Entire Street Fighter Userbase + Entire Tekken Userbase = Game sales$$$!!!" Now that's some starry-eyed optimism right there.

"Street Fighter CURSED Tekken".
Fans can roast a game all it wants, but when the branch of the actual company publishing/producing said game - says it, the burn is more severe. OUCH.

Funny that years after SFxT, Kazuya gets to fight Ryu and Ken again in Smash Ultimate.

Production Team in Japan: Why would anyone crack the game? That's illegal!"
game gets cracked, people find out about OD DLC
Production Team in Japan: Wha Happun-?

To this day I still hope they’ll announce Tekken vs Street Fighter

That Blanka "I came here" line with Ryu...

lmao as a former financial analyst, I can confirm overly ambitious sales forecasts based on clearly wrong assumptions are literally the only reason anyone tries anything in a modern economy.

"Why would anyone crack the game. That's illegal!"

Man, that's a knee-slapper right there.

I actually really loved how SFxT felt to play; the combos and the tag mechanics had some great feedback.  But the gem system, the timeouts, Pandora, and the fact that you only had to KO one team member to win all worked together to ruin the experience.  If Capcom had spent their money on developing a better core gameplay system instead of all the bullshit marketing ploys and busted mechanics, we might have had a solid entry into the Capcom fighting game dynasty.

14:51 "Why would anyone crack the game? That's illegal."

And thus headpalms and headdesks were heard around the globe.

The sad part is that SFxT actually turned it around in the end, but it was too late.

"the game will get cracked...'

Capcom "wait, that's illegal"

I just wanna point out that as soon as I got a PS3, and before I owned a ton of games, I was on PlayStation Home pretty much everyday... What an era... ( sniff ) I kinda miss it.

I just realized we got through this long without a Battleborne: Wha Happun

19:23 That Chun Li caught me off guard 😂

Nice video! "Why would anyone crack the game? That's illegal" is the funniest thing I've heard since "We have to do something about the Atari Jaguar!"
