Very nice video! When I was 20 years old in 1963 I owned one and now I own a 2023 , for the 60 anniversary, right now I’m 82 years old and I love to ride again this beautiful machine!

Riveting footage, for us bikers/ex-bikers.  Kept thinking "Why am I still watching this?"  -  but had to stay till the end.  Probably just wanted to know that you got home safe.  The camaraderie is undiminished.  "If you gotta ask, you'll never know".  Thank you for putting a big smile on my face.  😊😊😊

What a bike who needs anything else? 👍👍👍

One of the most entertaining Speed Runs I’ve seen in a long time!
Entertainment aside, this run answers some of my questions as to how practical a SC is with regard to open roads etc…the answer being it appears to be very capable.
Thanks for posting!

Most of the lorries in England are restricted to 55 mph (FYI)
I've had many a 125 slip streaming me in my truck over the years .

Watching your previous videos I had a feeling there was a Racer hiding somewhere, and now you have come clean about your murky past..😆

That blew me away, I didn't think those bikes had that kind of all round performance.

I had an old Honda Helix 250 cc in the US in 2007. It was in as new condition with less than 300 miles on the clock when I bought it. I loved that bike but the most I ever got out of it was 73 mph on the I-95 motorway between NYC and DC.
I'm very impressed to see you getting 76 out of a new Honda 125.

Shells premium fuel is called V-power mate. Loved the fact that both times you were being a rebel there was a Police car at the exact point - couldn't make it up. Great stuff

I had a 2003 honda 125 in the Philippines, top end was 125 kmh but it preferred 90 kmh and would run all day at that pace. It was a bullet proof little bike.

My mother once took a Honda C70 from York to Oxford on the M1.  She said she'd never been so scared.
I like the look of these new C125s .  I was seriously considering one when they came out. Decided to wait until they're a few years old and have dropped in price.   I was always a bit fan of the C90.  Best bike ever.  It's all things to all men.

I’m amazed actually- what a brilliant thing that is -

I didn't think a Honda Cub could move like that. You were definitely bringing out the best in it! Thanks for  bringing us along for the ride.

Love ur enthusiasm martin ,keep em coming

I like the way you ride mate,no faffing  about.👍

Thanks for another very entertaining video Martin !

I have a Yamaha majesty, two up on a motorway on flat surfaces there was 72 mph on the digital clock. It extremely comfortable and reliable..

Congratulations on the video Martin. It was nice to watch.

Rev limiter is probably @ 8,35k rpm (a piston speed of 17,6 m/s).
Top gear (fourth gear) runs at 8,575 mph @ 1k rpm (you can calculate this using tire circumference & gear ratios mentioned in the manual).

Multiply these numbers & you were doing a gps speed of 71,60 miles/hour.
Add a 6 % speedo deviation and you got your indicated top speed of 76 miles/hour.
Just my modest estimation..

I realise where you are as I went the same route in my lorry the other day and suddenly thought that bridge with the train on your side looked familiar

I taught you had racing experience by the way you can handle the bike, i wish had the same skill.
