I can see why this channel has nearly 10k subscribers! I don't own a cub, have very little love for working on motorcycles! But i sat here quite contentedly from start to finish and watched the whole thing! Good show sir! Quality content π
Nice to see you change your oil at 1000 miles - an absolute must for all small Honda's - been doing the same for years on all my bikes (mostly 1970's Honda's, cd175's, cb200, cb750, with a couple of Yamahas thrown in for good measure). Not got a cub myself, but my late brother had dozens of them over the years. Love the channel.
Every day is a school day, I thought the Cub only had the centrifugal clutch and didn`t realise it had a conventional clutch pack too. The paper and centrifugal filters is a nice belt and braces arrangement and with regular oil changes that engine could almost last indefinately.
You made that Oil spinner service look simple Martin, I've seen videos of lads go nuts trying to get the cover back on π€£, the grease was a great trick !
thank you for putting all these service videos up. I would like to buy a supercub and do the service myself too. Since i have no knowledge of these machines, this comes in very handy!
Great video. I have a red / white Euro 4 C125, Recently discovered your channel, really super stuff. Your calm demeanor and delivery reminds me of Holly from Red Dwarf (Norman Lovett). Please take that as a compliment ππ.
Itβs a busy job this and way worse than the same task on a C90π. I lay my bike on its side, very carefully and on an old Duvet, to get the clutch actuator back on. At least we donβt have to do it more than once a year. I always remove the exhaust and release the brake pedal from the rear drum. It just helps me. Nice work and good clear explanation.π
