After 12 months living full-time on the road, we’re looking back at everything we’ve learned from making the decision to sell almost everything we owned and start a new life travelling Australia.

In April 2025, we bought our 2010 Lotus caravan and spent three months transforming it into our off-grid home. Then in July 2025, we hit the road with no fixed address and began our adventure around Australia.

In this video, we take a walk along Thunder Point Lookout in Warrnambool and reflect on our first 12 months of full-time caravan life.

We’ll answer five big questions:
