ABBA "donated" this song to UNICEF—that is, all copyrights and royalties from the song continue to this day to fund aid projects, schools, and vaccination campaigns for children in need, especially in Latin America.
Benny is on the piano :-)
You should definitely check out the live performances from Wembley and Australia

Chiquitita - Chick - ee - tee - ta.  Spanish for 'young girl' or 'little girl'.

Their Spanish version became a monstrous seller in Latin America, broke all records back in 1979.So big that they even recorded a whole album in Spanish in oreder to match the demand.

BTW That instrumental outro became a big tik tok trend back in 2021.

No hidden meaning in this. Just a friend reassuring another that everything will work out after whatever has made them sad. Offering them a shoulder to cry on and support. Chiquitita is a term of endearment, a bit like little one.

One of the best outros too.

Björn on guitar, used to be married with Agnetha the blond

A mind trick..💡.:
'BEnny always wears a BEard' (Benny on the piano).
Masterpiece of ABBA 😍!
Take care ✌️
Love ❤️ from Chile 🇨🇱🤗🤓👌

keep listening bro, this shit was real.

Welcome to ABBA :) So many great songs!

The best ABBA song

Lay all your love on me. SOS, the day before you came. Premium.

Agnetha and Frida harmonise and sing so well because they sing together and compliment each other. Today’s singers scream and yell to try and out sing each other. It’s awful.

W vid

I thought Chiquita was about a daughter/child
