R.I.P Syd Barrett

Up next is Animals, another classic album. Keep it up brodie 🤟

(Also, happy late birthday brotha 🎉)

I love that you're not a pauser. Its a crime that reactors pause Pink Floyd so much. I crush your vids while I work cause it feels like I'm just hanging with a friend listening to good music. Can't wait for Animals!

Don't understand why people care about which album is better than what album.... it's Pink Floyd. Just enjoy them all

This album is mostly a tribute to their original bandmate Syd Barrett, who had taken so much LSD back in the day he caused himself brain damage, and doctors thought that had also brought on acute Schizophrenia. Nobody back then knew enough about the disorder, and the album is a melancholic tribute to their bandmate they never wanted to see go. 🤘

I listened to this when I was 15, on acid, headphones, and it changed my world. Quite the experience.

The last couple of Bars Richard plays on the keyboard is the riff from the early Pink Floyd hit "See Emily Play" written by Syd Barrett

There is nothing better than drinking and listening to classic rock music!

The title track and Shine On You Crazy Diamond are a continuation of a tribute started on their prior album with the song Brain Damage, about their former leader Syd Barrrett. He went insane and left the band and wasn't seen for years, until a bald, fat man showed up during the recording of Shine On You Crazy Diamond. None of the members recognized him, but it was Syd. When they finally realized it was him, they broke down. Unfortunately, he disappeared again, rarely to be seen or hear from again until his premature death.

What an anthem, Wish You Were Here is. A genius track forever

The way shine on ends....what a beautiful tribute to a friend

this is my favourite pink floyd record by far, its sad, its funny, its a beautiful melancholy masterpiece, hope you enjoy dude, you rock! ❤

Shine on You Crazy Diamond is by far my favorite Floyd song. I MISS WORDS TO DESCRIBE HOW PERFECT THIS SONG IS.

Took acid at pink Floyd tribute show, they did this album and DSOTM back to front. Welcome to the machine, Breath and Any colour you like sounded the most insane

This isn't just my favorite Floyd album, but it is hands down, my favorite album of all time. And I'm happy you are still reacting, and doing deep, full album dives. You quickly became one of my top music reactors, after your Smashing Pumpkins and STP vids. Keep up the musical journey, homie!

When Dick Parry (Sax) played this live at Pulse, he came out wearing 2 different saxs, then switched during his own solo.

Man you're in for a treat with animals, in my opinion hands down the best album Pink Floyd ever put out.

Im so jealous you are experiencing these albums for the first time. Got me through some of the worst and best years. Great reaction🔥

funfact: as you enjoy those headphones  just know  this band pioneered sterophonic and quadrophonic surround sound tech

This is one of those albums you just drift away. Have a good day, brother. Glad you enjoyed it. 🤟😎💋

Welcome my son. Welcome to THE MACHINE 😁
