I love how Adrian got so tuff. That was a great speech of encouragement from her on the beach.

What is so amazing is that Mr. T, Clubber Lang, became one of the most beloved characters of his era. Everyone loved Mr. T.😊

Best movie franchise ever. But I still laugh at the ocean frolic between Apollo and Rocky 😂

Mickeys death has to be one of the saddest in movie history. Everyone loved Mick.

That's why we all love Rocky, he's a broken human being in so many ways, not some Super Hero. This was such a big movie in my youth, Stallone really caught something wonderful here.

Adrian is the MVP in this one. Her speech on the beach turned it all around.

Probably my favorite Rocky movie.

RIP Carl Weathers (Creed).

When Mick told Rocky he can't win that was a game changer. He always looked out for Rock, and if he says you can't win, you can't.

Your emotional reactions is why we all show up to watch this with you. You make truly beautiful reactions to movies that were very important to millions of us. I lost my dad when I was 6 years old. Rocky was the closest I had to a male role model after that. Seeing you enjoy these decades later is an amazing gift to me. Thank you.

Verdy, you cry because you have a tender - beautiful heart. ❤ All of your emotions are genuine which shows in your love of music. Your fans 💕 you.

Mr.T participated in football, wrestling and martial arts in his youth. In high school he was city-wide wrestling champion 2 years in a row, and as a football standout won a college scholarship. Mr.T worked as a gym instructor for the city of Chicago working with disadvantaged children. After serving a tour in the US Army as Military Police he tried out for the Green Bay Packers, but didn't make the team due to injuries. He worked as a club bouncer/security and as a personal security guard for several celebrities before getting into acting.
Due to his appearance in Rocky, T became involved in WWF wrestling, appearing as Hulk Hogan's tag team partner in the very first WrestleMania. Mr.T's character on The A-Team became a fan favorite. He even had his own Saturday morning cartoon and breakfast cereal!!!

I saw a recent interview where Stallone gave the late Carl Weathers credit with making Rocky what it was. 19:07 When Stallone was interviewing people for Apollo he couldn't find anyone with the right build, attitude, voice and personality. Weathers came in and didn't realize who Stallone was (remember he wasn't famous then) Weathers nailed the audition and said he would have done even better if they had put a real actor in with him instead of some random guy (Stallone) lol

Now that I'm in my forties, I can relate to this existential crisis a lot more. You get out of your twenties, you lose that invincibility complex you had in your youth. You see your faults, you see things change, you lose people, you wonder if you're still going to be able to stand on your own.
Rocky's always helped me keep trying.

The intro song for this movie was supposed to be "Another One Bites the Dust" by the band Queen. Sylvester Stallone could not get the rights to use the song for the movie and he had to find something else. The band Survivor was lucky enough to get the opportunity to write the intro song and they used the intro fighting punches to time it to the music beat. The end result was better and that is what they used for the movie and also launched Survivor into popularity. The original Rocky theme changed from the Rocky One. The original one didn't have vocals or the electric guitar. This original Rocky theme is probably the one everyone remembers when they remember the Rocky movies. The theme song was named "Gonna Fly Now." Its my favorite one.
