2 more "up" songs from Van are "Jackie Wilson Said" and "Domino". Great horn arrangements.

Into the Mystic, by Van , please!❣️

Man!!!  Van had some serious soul.  Another Irish genius like Rory and Gary Moore.

Used to hear this on the radio many years ago, but seems to have been forgotten.  Fun song from Van.

Said when this is all over
You'll be in clover
We'll go on out and spend
All of your blue money
Blue money

So great!!

Irish soul!  They were big fans.  I like the way he keeps it loose in some of his early stuff.

The very first lines..."the photographer smiles, take a break for a while..." referred to at the least a nude photo session. "Working blue" at a time used to mean in the "indecent" realm, and "blue money" was getting paid for it. Unusual song when you look at it from that point-of-view!

I abaolutely love the bass lines in this one.... Van is always 'money' !!

You just can’t wrong with Van the Man! What a unique voice and talent!

Walking through Belfast, Northern Ireland’s city hall and came across a statue of “Sir Van Morrison”. I had been listening to his music for over 30 years and never knew he was Irish until then.

I think Van is a confident artist and that allows him to be successful with styles no one else will tackle. For example, his song Jackie Wilson Said. It's similar to this one.

At the time the song came out, I understood "blue money" to be money that you would set aside to be spent when it was needed to make yourself feel better. I took "juice money" to be just a rhyming synonym for "blue money" created by merging the phrase "juice it up". There was a time before the wide availability of credit that concepts like "rainy day money" (money set aside to carry you through times when your regular source of money wasn't producing), "blue money", etc. were common.
