I can’t imagine what it feels like listening to an attorney make up wild fantasies about how immoral your victim family member was. Everyone is entitled to a defense, but to assassinate the victim’s character at the stand and have the gall to say “we have to look at this truthfully, not from a fantasy?” What a repulsive defense.

Lawyers should also be accountable of perjury if they spit out this kind of lies

Crystal should not have her sentence reduced. She could have saved Beverly and didn’t. Rest in peace Beverly.

Its one thing to defend someone,  its another to lie and defame someone innocent.  Disgusting.

Imagine  your wife being killed and then still having to defend HER!!!! R.I.P., you were truly loved.

Those lawyers should be absolutely ashamed with themselves!

How tragic and pointless. The cowardly immoral cruelty of some people who call themselves human never ceases to shock and stun ( and disgust) me. Also attorneys…seriously how can they sleep at night? On another note, what a gorgeous family. RIP Beverly.💖

How dare they dissect Beverly's life. How dare they!!
He killed her coldly and cruelly for his own gain whatever the hell that was.
What a pr!ck.

Hearing Aaron’s voice just makes me burst into a fit of rage. How can someone be so disrespectful, malicious and evil to another human being. RIP Beverly. You’ve indeed suffered immensely in your last moments, and you are a loving grandmother and family member

I’m so glad Aaron’s plans failed, he’s the kind that believes he’s the smartest person in the room, and he’s nothing more than a loser. But, unfortunately, Beverly couldn’t make it out alive 😞.

I love how her husband went with his gut feeling and took action!  And defended her honour! He clearly loved her very much, my heart goes out to their kids, her husband, close friends and family, R.I.P Beverley , I hope she’s with her son 💔🙏🏾

This kind of crazy victim blaming by the killer's attorneys is repugnant and totally unacceptable. They are effectively re-victimising the late victim in court, as justice is sought for them. It should not be allowed.

Beverly seemed like an amazing woman, larger than life yet still so kind and grounded. This crime is horrific. 😰

The sick bastards 🤬🤬🤬 Hope Beverly is resting easy 🙏🙏🙏

Horrific, awful case, Beverly did not deserve this. It’s scary how many evil people walk among us 😔

My heart breaks for Beverly's husband, children, grandchildren and all her family and friends 😢

This is by far my favorite true crime channel! Thank you for always being so respectful to the victims when telling their stories

This tragic story bears similarities to the Suzy Lamplugh case in the UK (an estate agent who disappeared in 1986 after arranging to meet a 'Mr Kipper'). At least the Carter family got justice for Beverley, which is cold comfort, but the perpetrator was caught. Suzy Lamplugh's abductor/killer was never found, her body is still missing although she was eventually declared dead by the authorities but the prime suspect is serving a life sentence in prison for other crimes against women. He is reportedly terminally ill but still refusing to make a confession, despite some compelling evidence linking him to the crime.

We had a similar case happen in New Zealand recently, it’s heart breaking when a woman is kidnapped and murdered while simply doing their job. 😢.  Real Estate agents or anyone meeting up with strangers should work in pairs if they possibly can

I live in Little Rock. This story is still so fresh. Aaron was on the run and captured around the corner from the salon I was working in. Scary stuff. The whole city was on high alert when he was a fugitive. Poor Beverly. What an absolutely horrific way to leave this world. RIP
