Loved your reaction video

The Great War is a good channel for a deeper dive into WW1 it's a fascinating and undertalked about subject.

I’ve seen a handful of German vtubers react to this and I don’t think a single one knew what pfefferpotthast was. One even accused Oversimplified of making it up because the word was too complicated.

Turns out it’s a Westphalian spiced beef stew thickened with pumpernickel crumbs.

Fun-ish Fact: The first army to use chemical weapons during the war was actually the French who used tear gas in August 1914.

World war 1 is probably one of the most important and interesting wars. Especially since it’s a very non black and white war(by that I mean it was no one in particulars fault, no one should have been blamed). The war pretty much sets up the entirety of the 20th century.

another V-tuber has hit the oversimplified tower!

When The wreckage of the Lusitania was discovered, they found all kinds of artillery, small arms, and ammo.

I recommend watching: "the german revolution - part 1 by things i care about" ; it's a really similar format and I'm sure it would be an interesting reaction

Also have you read about the Kulturkampf? It had a lot to do with the attacks on Belgium.

Hey have you read Alexander Kollontai's work on the war? She wrote a neat piece called "Who Needs War?" and she was good friends with Lenin.

yooo they recreated my favourite sabaton album, and so early too. chill its a music joke

If you want some recommendations for WW1 content, I recommend "The Battle of Verdun" by "Epic History"

Another German Vtuber to add to the collection

fun fact. the damage done via trenchwarfare on the western front has left many areas of France uninhabitable to this day.

I love ur model! The tail is super cute.

I like how interested you seem towards this, somehow the avatar shows the focus you had towards it.

For some extra context about just how bad "No Man's Land" between the trenches was: not only are large amounts of live ammunition, ordnance, chemical weaponry, etc. still found every year in something that's been called "the Iron Harvest", but there are still small areas in France so thoroughly poisoned from WWI and II that full decontamination is estimated to take 500 to 700 more years.

It’s always fun watching Vt learning about history 😊😊😊
