The "For TREE" bit is the best part of this video, it is just hilarious and makes me laugh so hard every time 🤣

Compared to the other Galar fossils, Dracozolt might be the one thriving the most XD Dracovish and Arctovish can barely breathe right, and Arctozolt is constantly sick and shivering. And Dracozolt got given a DUMPY

11:20 I think Mikey had bout of insanity and his mind just breaks

The discussion of a poison gym theme reminds me of the jigsaw Jerma did
"Can you stand The smelly smells"
The gym doesn't have to be literally poisonous It just has to be unpleasant

Seeing Poseidon's pretty face up close at the beginning of this video made my day ^w^

I mean, Sei OBVIOUSLY would be an electric type gym leader 😏

Mikey's Kanto Gym safari is basically my whole theme! My favourite Type is even Normal!

32:32 Armarouge all the way. Ceruledge is badass, but Armarouge's more heroic vibe and brighter colours make it for me.

the thing about Tropius is that it isn't good later, but as an early gym a BST 460 Pokémon would be brutal being 55 points more than the middle stage starter evos
Make it lvl 15, have the team set up sunny day for the Chlorophyll speed boost and then ONLY Torchic would take neutral or resisted damage and Tropius wouldn't even need a Sunny speed boost to out speed (Combusken at 55 Speed beats an Unboosted Tropius at 51 but the fighting type adds a flying weakness while a Chlorophyll speed boost wins against even Grovyle's 95 Base Speed)

Between Charcadet's evolved forms, I think I prefer Ceruledge. If I ever replay through Paldea, I would use Armarouge on a Meowscarada team so I can experience using it on an in-game team. I've used Ceruledge on a Quaquaval team for one game, and I used neither for a Skeledirge team in another game.
When you went into not letting a child operate a ballista or fiery arrows, it reminded me of why certain key items have not been implemented in the earlier games as a substitute for HM moves. The HM for Flash could obviously be a lantern or a flashlight, which would be acceptable. For HM01 Cut, I've seen people suggest a machete or some gardening tool, at least for ROM hacks and fan-made games. Even though they allow children to wield Pokémon, I don't think a number of parents would like the idea of a child using those tools in-game or depictions of that in the anime and manga.

I think something that would be really cool, and follow Mikey's vision for his Paldean team, along with Ceruledge and armorouge, would be Kantonian and Paldean Tauros. Specifically the fire Tauros obviously. Kantonian being the ace would match all the requisite criteria, and also be really cool to see variants from 2 regions on the same team.

9:14 me I lost 4 years worth of progress in Soul Silver due to save file corruption

@MechPrime-y2q 1 year ago

I know you’re Poseidon but a spooky ghost mermaid themed gym leader would be pretty cool. You could still use a lot of water types too!

Not sure what the best bit is here. Grunty Boy, tree, or sudden Team Sky. I'll go with all.

4:14 to be fair, there was a myth that the lavender town theme could cause self-unaliving behavior if listened to for extended periods of time

Edit: I paused the video to make this comment completely unaware that the lavender town theme myth would be brought up immediately after I unpaused……
