Fun fact about his little side-note about the Master Ball in Colosseum - You can use a Master Ball on everything. Every battle in the game is a double battle, and there's a glitch where if you choose to use a Ball on your first Pokemon's action, then with you second Pokemon rearrange the position of the balls in your bag, the Ball will still be used, but won't be removed from your inventory. Giving you the ability to use infinite Master Balls (or any other Ball you want to)

Fun Fact
he discovers in his later playthrough video that the Metagross does NOT have the lowest catch rate in Pokémon Colosseum
that "honor" goes to the Tyranitar

No matter how many times I watch this video of Mikey's, it reminds me of the time when I helped move all my brother's Pokemon to Home he had a Butterfree from my ORIGINAL FireRed playthrough (since I only played through it once when he helped move my Pokemon to Diamond back in the day). I had long since thought I lost most of those Pokemon, due to losing Diamond years later, but I forgot I gave him that Butterfree. He simply gave it back to me, so, at the end of the day, I still have one last remnant of my old squads I could bring to new generations (RIP all the Pokemon still stuck on the original GameBoy games).

This video makes me wish more than anything that I hadn't lost my 3DS and the bulk of my DS and 3DS games back in high school. I actively went to events and transferred Pokemon from Gen 4 onwards, and I'm almost certain that I had my very first team from Pearl on one of those games. So many memories are gone now, and I'll never get them back.

I remember my first Sapphire playthrough ended up with a TON of Roselias. I was tricked as a kid to believe that a shiny pokemon became shiny once it got in the box. So I decided to catch every Roselia I could. There were also a lot of bad eggs in the boxes for.... reasons....

9:35 Deltarune theorists losing their minds right now.

To be fair, I wouldn't be surprised about people not knowing about Pokemon Box Ruby & Sapphire cause it's really REALLY obscure and super rare to boot. In North America is was ONLY released in the New York Pokemon Center (and apparently the pokemon center website but this was in 2004 so ordering online probably wasn't as easy back then + it may not have shipped outside of he US). So like, trying to FIND a copy of this game is stupidly difficult and when you do it is EXPENSIVE.
I do not know why they made this so hard to get when it came out honestly.

I used to go to the Pokemon Center NYC store. It goes back all the way to gold silver and crystal

I plugged my crystal into a machine that gave me a gen 2 murkrow that knew Beat Up

I have 1 original gamefile left. My black 2 game. I invested so much damn time in that game that i cannot bring myself to delete it. I transfered all my shiny pokemon into omega ruby (which i lost, rip) but i still have a bunch of stuff on the gamefile. Its fun to look at it every once in a while. And i can replay white 2 since i have both games
