Hate the influencers that try to tell us that bloating is gross and a problem that needs fixing. Like it’s just a normal thing that occasionally happens.  eff it, i’m on vacation. If i look puffy, who cares?? Why would i take like 8 pills and worry about /possibly/ looking slightly heavier when i could NOT and actually enjoy my vacation?

Just might be the most dystopian/scammy thing I'll see today besides MLM recruiters... who in the world is DOING THIS?

that first girl throws around a lot of fear mongering and pseudo science. typical scammer behaviour

25:56 it’s so bad I have to comment again. As an immunologist I’m begging the wellness community to stop throwing around the word “inflammation” as the newest trendy buzzword. They have not a single clue what it actually means or what that process actually is.

Also if your liver needs support for its function that’s called liver disease and you should get yourself to the doctor ASAP.

Being a nutritionist means nothing. Registered Dieticians are the people who are qualified to advise on proper eating.

This is an important video! "Coach" (including health coach) and "nutritionist" are not legally protected terms in a lot of countries, so they don't necessarily mean anything. The person may have little-to-no legitimate training. Thanks for examining this, Briar! Congrats on 5k!

24:17 why is it cool to take this many pills when they’re supplements but when I take this many pills because my psychiatrist tells me to I’m called crazy lmao lol

Qualifications: I’m hot and my hair is shiny

As someone who weight lifts, I HATE the cycle syncing trend. It doesn’t make sense to center your entire fitness journey around your cycle. I have terrible periods but if I have the energy to lift weights…..I lift weights. If I feel that my body needs a break whether I’m on my cycle or not, I take a break. It’s really that simple. You don’t have to adjust your workouts every week. It’s ineffective and ridiculous

i’m in bed eating cheese puffs. my “glow up” era started and ended with a RAGING ED. if glow up culture died out i would die happy

A point that needs emphasized is that the supplements, herbs,  powders and additives can interact with and interfere with prescribed medications. If you are seriously bloated on the regular, see a doctor. If you need lymphatic drainage, see a doctor. If you are on a medication or medications, make sure you check in with your doctor and pharmacist.   Doctors will ask about teas, caffeine, alcohol, drug use and supplement use. In fact, my experience in an medical crisis  (I am fine) was that the Doctors/Nurses/Specialists were all more interested in dietary supplements than the drug and alcohol part of the questions.  At the time I was taking one daily supplement and the Nurse pulled up pictures of the bottles of daily supplements for me to identify the exact bottle because they needed to give me some med that would interact with a particular ingredient often found in supplements. Make sure you know what you are taking, and that you have a record for your Dr.  Supplements can interact with and affect the ability of a med to work, cancel them out (St. Johns Wort will turn off many birth control pills!) and even create poisons.  As for the bloating and lymphatic drainage....umm...if it is that significant, time to see a Dr.

"I eat a well-rounded diet with protein and fiber" also "do these things to help get your bowels moving" what?? if you are eating well, most people have no issues with going to the bathroom. it's so weird.

Congrats on 5k subs. Well deserved!!! You are so ahead of the other commentary channels on topics, watching your vids makes me feel like I'm ahead on trending news.

Makeup looking fire today briar btw

Idk but a life coach sounds like a life guard to me 😂😂😂 or maybe a coach where you lay out your life on 😂😂

I’m happy for the girl who can “1,2,3” herself awake but I need 27 alarms going off at random intervals with different jarring sounds in order to still wake up late

It seems they are all IBS sufferers. There are better ways than dandelion tea to deal with that, FODMAP is a good way to find out what is for you the problematic ingredient

Just found you this past week and so happy a year after you filmed this, you’re already at 14k followers! You‘ve been making me chuckle all week

proud to be part of the 5,000 😊💝

Congratulations on 5000! Thank you for your deep dive but especially for talking about education and being within your scope. I hate seeing all the kind of nebulous certifications out there. As for me, I have a masters degree in social work, but my concentration is adults and late life. More specifically, I am a hospice social worker. So you are not going to see me providing private therapy to anyone, much less a child or adolescent with whom I have no experience. My scope is very narrow as a social worker, as it should be. If I wanted to expand it, I would need a lot more training and proper certifications for that. I also don't like how people think they can give out advice just because they are "training" to be something....that is a little sketchy. I guess they could preface it with "what I have learned so far..." and inform ppl that they have not yet finished their certificate or training, but this should not be used to make money or to give influencers more authority. If you haven't finished, you haven't finished. I hope that is not too harsh. Thanks for the video!!
