Hey guys, thanks for watching! I have another missile themed Besiege video coming soon(ish) that I'll have a teaser for out tomorrow on my community tab.

lets just remind ourselves this game was supposed to just be a simple game where you make simple machines to smash down buildings

“Making a chinook helicopter in Besiege” Ok, seems somewhat doable
“…powered only by jaw blocks”
…oh

While the claw does in fact look like a piston, the CH-47 Chinook does not use piston engines, rather it uses turboshaft engines

Rent was due

I can't wait for RC to make a working supercomputer in Besiege

yay finally a helicopter video

You should try making an ornithopter.

I thought this was just going to be another make something that looks like it and maybe flies. I didn’t expect to see Leonardo DaVinci type of design process that reminded me of some of my mechanical engineering classes

Swashplates will never not seem like magic to me lmao. I know how they work, I've seen them built countless times, and have even made a couple myself in games (like Dream Car Builder, which you should definitely return to someday), but seeing them in action is just mesmerizing every time lol. It almost feels like they shouldn't work so effectively, especially when you have two with Chinooks! Has to be one of the coolest inventions of the 20th century for me, other than computers obviously lmao

"Dude we are still in the Iron Age HOW DID YOU MANAGE TO MAKE AN ENTIRELY FUNCTIONAL CH47 CHINOOK"

10:35 the concept in the background falling apart lmao

I thought he was going to use a flywheel and ratchet system to get the power from the jaws, but this design seems significantly better for strength.

5:40 must ben the wind

insane refresh pull

I thought you were gonna have two engines side by side, one powerimg the front and one, the back, but that works.

How about recreating Kerbal Space Program in Besiege?

You can probably give this guy a matchbox and two chicken bones and he’ll make a fully functional v8 engine with it

Havent seen this game in years, the algorhtm proceeds to reccomend me this

This has probably my favorite looking engine
