Can I Build a Ground Attacker to Rival the A-10?

Messier 82

The Fairchild Republic A-10 Thunderbolt II remains one of the most famous aircraft ever built. But what if... it never existed? Using the requirements of the A-X program (the one that gave birth to the A-10), we will try to design our own competitor to the vehicle, and then compare and contrast how each performs. Do YOU think the A-72 Rhino could have competed with the A-10?

Big thanks to BIG-HAM (@real-big-ham) and to GamingGremlin21 (@gaminggremlin21) for the voice lines!

Every plane this guy makes, looks like something out of nuclear option.

"A-10 Warthog" vs "A-72 Rhino" vs "A-19 Brawler"

This looks like something that snuck its way out of the 40's and 50's and somehow got the budget to be built to 'modern' standards.

I love it.

this thing is shaped like a CF-100 Canuck knock-off built by a soviet engineer high on LSD & coke.

I don't think the plane is ugly at all, I think it looks neat

5:45 turns out the pilot saying "are you the little dots on the left or the ones on the right" is also not good when he's lining up the Exploding Redbull Can Dispenser

2:45 bold to assume the designers of the gun with wings weren’t on something when they designed it

The War Thunder kill notification right after "i am a masochist" is the cherry on top for this video.

It kinda looks like a blackburn buccaneer and a supermarine scimitar were in a happy relationship but then the bucc had an affair with the a10

Imagine you are pinned down and about to die to rebels, but the A-72 saves the day.

How many wing fences do you want?

Yes.

I literally opened your channel yesterday to subscribe because I saw another flyout video of some other guy making a jet and it went me go “there was this guy making jets for export with his friends in an imaginary conflict”.
