This old table was destroyed on the top. Neglect and big planters absolutely ruined the veneer on the middle section. Mold. Missing finish. Broken dowels. Rusty hardware. This makeover had it all.
It definitely would have been easier to remove the veneer and add new veneer, but thought this would be a good opportunity to show you how I deal with some of these problems. Some will love what I did, some won't, but one thing is for sure- instead of ending up in the landfill, sad and broken, this near-antique drop leaf table has PLENTY of life left now!
