I only paid $48 for this pair of dated thrift store nightstands and after a complete furniture makeover, I think they’re now worth around $500.
I’m updating these oak veneer nightstands with new legs, hardware, proper prep and a sprayed finish in Sherwin-Williams Pewter Green.

This thrifted furniture flip is a great example of how a few thoughtful changes can turn inexpensive secondhand pieces into something beautiful, useful and valuable again.

Whether you’re flipping furniture for profit, learning how to refinish furniture or just love a good thrift store makeover, I hope you pick up a tip or two along the way!
