When we get to the Shadowlands Miquella has already abandoned most of his body and power. We never see him at his fullest. We chase him down to when he's weakest, then face him as a god at the gate of divinity, but we never see what he could do pre-Mohg. He even casts off his great rune, which is when he loses the charm power and the spell over everyone breaks.

St. Trina's sword is in Caelid in a chest in the basement of some ruins guarded by giant, scary crows.

55:32 I so wish this could be in the DLC, when you drop down the corps abyss, and killed off the crescent blade horse monster, the cave opens up to this angelic place..  would be so shocking

but it won’t make sense for it to be this developed as she’s just being dumped there only recently and meant to be left for dead

8:45 mental rot, or corruption is more powerful than anything.

I think you may know the power of “why” in sales, where you can activate your target’s why, and you can get them to pay anything for a worthless junk willingly..

So we may have Radhan, Miquela, Morgyn under his influence.  The power of the 3 most powerful demigods is for him to wield..  that’s why we have that famous quote of “blade of Miquella”

in our world, we have many nations under the influence of one man, some country even had 80-100millions wiped out.. none of thise charismatic leaders had physical super power.. but that one deadliest power is corruption over mind

7:43 Lance McDonald had the cutscene of this monologue extracted, in which Miquella used his blood to grow the HaligTree you had so much fun on

His video is “Miquella Planting the Haligtree deleted cutscene and Map”

I regretfully apologise for yet another long-winded comment but I love miquella as a concept and have to share some thoughts. I promise I am trying to be concise and pick what to comment on sparingly lmao

I think one of the most interesting things about miquella, at least to me, is his nascence. in the realm of 'eternal childhood' being his curse, it's really easy to look at malenia and say miquella got the better curse, but when you think about it a little deeper being a child isn't the real curse. to be nascent is to be on the verge of reaching potential, and when you look at everything miquella has done over his very long youth there's not a single achievement he's made that succeeded to its fullest potential. his haligtree withered and died, his unalloyed gold needle went unfinished, godwyn's resurrection failed, sending malenia after radahn went unresolved for so long, and even trying to reach godhood failed. his curse isn't 'being young', its being unable to reach his potential. he is cursed to always reach for the stars and always fall short. to me I really don't know if that's better or worse than malenia's slow decay, an argument could be made either way

7:10 this twinblade is now in the game in the DLC, under a different name and with a different description. it is now the 'euporia' twinblade and is found along a very tricky parkour path in enir-ilim

17:25 goldmask is a questline relating to brother corhyn and has a whole mending rune ending just like fia or the dungeater. to put it as briefly as I can for a pretty complex concept, he's some kind of magic mathematician or something who can read the light of the erdtree to interpret the order, and he gets sort of mentally paralysed when he finds the 'snag' of marika/radagon. telling him the truth of it makes him come to the belief that the elden ring has been corrupted because at the end of the day the gods also have free will and so they are inherently biased and can't be trusted to weigh up good and evil without bias. his mending rune is basically a way to 'fix' what marika/radagon broke, and then make it so it's now part of the order that order can no longer be changed by biased human-gods: he functionally softlocks the elden ring against any future interventions. I think this is debateably comparable to miquella's goals: both are basically removing free will to prevent conflict or corruption

I do think it's really worth mentioning though that you are doing a great job of absorbing all this information and elaborating on how you think about it. this stuff is really dense and with the way you've been doing it in these videos it's not exactly easy to keep track of where everything interacts, but you are doing a good job of that. glad you've been enjoying these so far, very excited to see more!

I’d deffo give the we are godwyn series a quick glance mango that expands upon a lot of the godwyn lore from this vid

Regarding Marika being Radagon - in a world of mimics indistinguishable from the genuine articles (Mimic Tears; Lost Ashes of War), memory transfers (Remembrance Duplication), being able to be reborn and completely change your stats and looks (Rennala's Egg), and you being able to magically obtain armor and armaments of the Demigods and others from Enia (which seems to violate the Law of Causality, because shit just pops into existance out of nowhere) - saying a mere "X is Y" is incredibly vague and ambiguous.

St. Trina's sword is in Calid. In a ruin surrounded by birbs.

Gold is very molecularly stable so it pretty much can’t corrode. It makes sense that it would be used in areas to resist scarlet rot which is pretty much magic acid/plague

What's interesting is that the sun is a celestial body. So maybe the ritual didn't work because Radahn was holding back the stars?

I've desperately been trying to figure out what to recommend for a while now. Assuming someone else hasn't brought him up already, there's a channel by the name of "Fatbrett" that has excellent character analysis videos on both Leda and Ansbach from the DLC.

Mango, watching your lore reaction videos and seeing how much you are interested in this stuff I would tell you to please don't skip the dark souls series. You said in one of your livestreams that you are not 100% sure you are going to play the dark souls games but please do. All 3 of those games are equally amazing in their own way. Those games are basically what made Elden ring so good. Without them we would not have had Elden ring so please play those games and explore that lore too because it's as deep and mysterious and fascinating as elden ring's lore.

29:59 not so much physics and metallurgy more so alchemy which alot of elden ring has roots in alchemy like marika-radagon being alchemical rebis the importance of gold and theres alot of alchemy inspo for alot of factions or specific interactions and even art of elden ring i think quelaag and maybe TA tho its been awhile since i seen his stuff covers this its pretty cool maybe itll give you more headaches than the radahn star thing

The metallurgic aspects of gold, unalloyed gold, silver etc are more symbolic than literal. The crucible knights I think somewhere are described as wearing red-gold armor, and red is the color of death in this game. Once death was removed from the Elden Ring, red-gold had no place in the order. I'm sure there are other examples but I'm blanking

17:19  WOW! LOL

I left a pretty good timeline in the last videos comments with the ages, and full breakdown in the replies.

The best way to describe Miquella is imagine someone that likes globalisation but he's doing it with mind control and shuts down anyone that defy his authority.
Edit:I suggest doing the dlc revelations next.

Many demigods died after Godwyn. They just aren't named.

1:49 st trina of the cradle song. st trina is the only reason i still love miquella lol
