This purse is awesome! You should name him Patchrick!

@fortunecookie714 10 months ago

His mouth is a pocket?! That makes me love him even more 💕💕

13:45 can we appreciate the work Charlie puts into her subtitles? They are great and also crack me up. I always have them on because I know I’ll get even more out of her videos by doing that

I think I might sew up the penguin, but make a few and make them in to sand-weighted door stops! This whale was so dange adorable and the patchwork was a stellar idea.

Ironically the term “wheelhouse” tangentially relates to whales! The wheelhouse is the part of a ship where the wheel is, so it’s used as a term to show something is in your command, is your area of expertise.

Every time Henrietta returns, I just imagine this whole picture book of all her adventures. Feels like that'd be a fun project to do.

I love the whale purse. It is adorable. Matt filling the pool for the squirrel is just as adorable.

I love that Mat is making more cameos in your videos!!

You should now enlarge the pattern and make a carryon size bag xxxx 😂❤❤

I vote Magrathea like the planet the whale lands in on Hitchhiking guide to the galaxy lol

As someone who regularly uses closed captioning. Henrietta is such a lovely treat! Her stories add flavour and depth to your videos that the music also provides. I recognize it takes time and care to write the story, and timing it so it fits, but doesn’t interfere with cc’ing what has been said. Thank you.

Hazzah for making it through the actual brain pain of reading instructions (I have this too). Not only is it a challenge to yourself to try and work around/with the frustration, but doing a pattern every once in a while will give you tips and tricks for your own drafting. The pattern makers know all about the weird corners, the stitch-in-the-ditch stuff, the taking a 2 dimensional object and making it 3D and curved. AND just because you're you, your brain will definitely store all that helpful info for later use.

"Everything should be cute" is great fashion advice!

@dc2london 10 months ago

Seriously, the project none of us knew we needed to watch! Thank you - that was exactly the amount of cute needed on this exact day.

The absolute joy that your purse "swimming" towards camera gave me!!!

You have invented the perfect remedy for depression and anxiety. The combination of the cute project, beautiful colors of patchwork, funny Charlie faces and narration with the relaxing music and the lovely tale of Henrietta is pure medicine. This video made my day and brightened up my mood so much. Thank you Charlie, this is why you are one of my favorite channels. Can you please make a Henrietta playlist so we can rewatch those videos and enjoy her story? I'd suggest the name Patchwhale by the way

You absolutely should use that purse everywhere! It is fabulous ❤ I need to make a purse, mine is falling apart and I swore to myself that instead of going the fast fashion route I would make everything I could from now on.

I really like your water flowing past him.
We had a similar whale give birth in the cove by our beach. So cute! Not a patchwork whale. It was a humpback.

The bag is fantastic, you did an incredible job 😊

But can we just take a second to appreciate what a wholesomely adorable sweetheart Mat is! He filled up the pool so the squirrel could get a drink easier? That’s a 10 out of 10 human being right there 😊
