Daiwa TD Black is the best value rod in Australia for $200. Strap in and let's. talk TD Black for half an hour. I own four rods across three generations and I have a ton of experience and a lot to say.
No messing around I'm going to give it to you straight!

Hey mate, what are your thoughts on the 7’8 td black sugarpop rod for a daily soft plastic rod? Have you tried that model

Got two of these rods, the Scratchy and the Drunken Monkeys. Using the DM for ajing but have caught trevalleys, good size bream, and tailor as bycatch and no problem bringing them in. Going to use the Scratchy for mostly whiting on the beach, expecting to catch flatties and bream as bycatch. Just bought it.

Hi mate, another great breakdown, thank you! Would you recommend the Paddlefish for soft plastic and lure fishing from the calm beaches around Sydney? Thinking the longer rod might help with casting but how does it go with soft plastics? Thanks in advance

hey mate, lovely review. i've got the 23 scratchy as well, just in the one-piece configuration. i haven't used it extensively yet, but what are your thoughts specifically on the 23 scratchy's taper/action? to me it's obviously stiff and fast enough for plastics, but i fear it might be a little too stiff for treble-hooked hardbodies.

hey mate what would be the best all-rounder for ultralight/light tackle estuary fishing for your bread and butter species? the 23 td black drunkmonkey or the 23 td black grub'n?
