"And how might your king be of service" is such a great line with so many layers

Aegon would have probably legitimized Corlys' sons though. "He came all this way. Nobody will care."

I like Aegon better. He genuinely wanted to return the sheep 😂

It's funny how Rhaenyra is tripping out trying to appease everyone and Aegon is just going by vibes and what feels is right in that moment.

I love how Aegon tells the guy not to be nervous, he seems like he genuinely likes the common people.

Rhaenyra telling the septa she’d light a candle for her loss after the old man told her there was a tallow shortage 😐

Aegon:Our victory depends on the efforts of the small folk.
Otto: o…k. *walks away*

In an alternate world , free of abusive mothers , neglectful fathers and manipulative grandfathers , they would've been amazing siblings ❤

Aegon seemed like he would have been a man of the people if not for those around him

Did they really minimize the blockade and say it was the greedy greens that made the small folk suffer? Jesus Christ, it was Rhaenyra's blockade that caused this. Ugh.

Aegon is actually a natural lol

Notice the difference between Otto and Corlys.

Otto comes to king and whispers what he thinks, while Corlys loudly goes against Rhaenyra.

Otto may have called Aegon stupid, but only when no one listened. He didn't want to undermine Aegon before his people, while Corlys doesn't even think about this kind of things.

Both Otto and Corlys wanted to have half Hightowers or Velaryons (even if only in name) on the throne and did simillar things to get there, but Otto is blatantly more professional as hand of the king.

its funny that rhaenyra tries to solve the matter and starts tripping while aegon is straight forward but doesnt think if they ruled together that would be the best but it ain't a fairytale is it
