How does a permaculture garden evolve after 7 years? What mistakes should you avoid, and what concrete results can you expect?
Five years ago, we filmed Sébastien's vegetable garden in Combrand (Deux-Sèvres): 50 m² of raised beds, yielding approximately 115 kg of vegetables each year.
👉 Watch the first video: Permaculture au potager : 115 kg de légume... Today, Sébastien opens his garden doors to us again to show us what has changed, what has worked, and the mistakes he wouldn't repeat. His 729 m² plot (629 m² usable) has become a truly productive ecosystem, yielding over 250 kg harvested last year, abundant fruit, and biodiversity that naturally regulates pests.
What you'll learn in this video:
Why knowing your soil texture (and not just what "the neighbors say") makes all the difference in garden design
How adding ponds and water features transforms an ecosystem in just a few years
Mini Zone 5s: a simple trick to attract pollinators and beneficial insects
Why never uncovering your soil is the golden rule that Sébastien wishes he had applied from the start
The little-known mistake: not anticipating processing (jams, preserves) when production skyrockets
How to adapt your design over time, as a family, and with physical constraints
